This must be what it’s like to win the lottery. People coming out of the woodwork asking for tix from me. Normally I listen and hook people up. This time, I simply laugh.. it’s not my job to source tickets (ie: pay attention for emails and actually request the tix ahead of time when the emails came out). Feels good to be sitting on 4 without a care in the world and only $2600 all in for them.

Sure.

I took a bath when I couldn’t go to the cotton bowl due to having a newborn. Didnt see any of you or my friends asking for those at face value or more. Everyone was happy to lap up $50 seats instead.

Now…shoes on the other foot.

Time to make my money back for doing my due diligence. I just find it funny how many people want a favor when it’s convenient for them (and not the person who actually stays on top of **** and makes sure my ticket request is in).

To each his own. I get the logic. Just business. I also see the humanity in giving a slight discount to fellow canes. Both are understandable. Your tickets 🍻

No need to cry about it, just stfu and sell it to an Indiana fan. The guy you were responding to was just pointing out that plenty of Miami fans would pay the same amount so try to sell to them all else being equal.

Brother you responded to an email, you didn't cure cancer, calm down.

As a fellow Canes fan it seems like you have a lot of emotional trauma, you should talk to someone. Remember postpartum can happen to guys too after their wife has a newborn.

I actually like going to the games alone (from NJ).
It's nice to be on my own schedule.
To your point about making friends, there's a good group of fellow STH's around me that band together during the games.

That being said, my girlfriend is into it and decided to come to the Natty with me after we beat Ole ****.
Add now another plane fare, real dining, a real hotel, and ticket $....
What's another 5k? 🤣

Same boat! $8k for 2 is a legit full paid trip, maybe next time the Fins play in Europe 😂 $1.5k per is much easier to stomach

What’s STH mean?

And I get you on the 5K but it’s nice having a special few days with your partner. My husband and I are going down to Miami this weekend for the game and because of health issues, this will actually be the very first “vacation” we’ve had just the two of us since our son was born almost NINE years ago. I think we deserve this!
