Indiana has one of the largest living alumni bases in the country, so they have a HUGE and I mean huge base to sell tickets to. Never mind that this has NEVER HAPPENED FOR THEM BEFORE, and you will see ticket prices go through the roof.

I dont believe that is accurate, most tickets have already been allocated. We dont have them in our accounts yet, but we have section, row and seat numbers already. Indiana is only getting 20K allocation.

Correct. Knowing where your seats are allows you to sell on other sites, such as StubHub.

She is fun. Would enjoy it. Zero interest in it outside of being my long standing wife & being happy for me.

I agree with the latter. Always enjoyed going solo.

My thought is seeing if solo/two tickets pop of day of/before for a discounted price. If not oh well.

I saw she is telling you to do it. So I know how to decide this.

Is she the kind of woman that doesn’t really tell you what she means and wants you to do the opposite of what she is actually saying?

Or is she direct and if she tells you something, you know she means it?

Obviously, if it’s the latter, then you’re in the clear and can buy yourself the ticket like she said and go and have fun.

If it’s the former, then it depends on how much you care to keep your wife happy. I get the feeling that you do, however, and that’s why you’re hesitant. So then you could either buy the two tickets or try to find a way to get two tickets in a better section.
