There’s a lot of Deebo Samuel to his game (I can say that as a 49er fan who thinks DS is a touch overrated). Just line him up somewhere there’s a mismatch and get him the ball. At the HS level tho, he erases angles with ease.

Hopefully new OC knows the concept of getting your playmakers the ball in space, because I don’t want to hear the excuses of Ray Ray is still learning the route tree/playbook. Lazy curl routes and bubble screens create yardage when you have that speed.

Obviously he has amazing ability to make big plays out of short passes and to make people miss. The one thing that always worries me is that you can watch an entire highlight video of all these kids and have no idea if they can run any routes outside of taking 3-4 steps sideways or taking 3-4 steps forward and running around. I understand his body type is made for certain plays, etc but no idea if he has the ability to run intermediate routes or anything else. Again, looks super talented and is probably great but just some worries.
