Narduzzi: Miami will “trick it up” on Sat

Cleared to practice. He looks like he's going to be fine. They thought he might have broken/fractured something so they X-rayed him but it came back clean. So probably just a nasty bump/bruise. But he looks like he's going to be fine.
Yeah I was concerned it was a break when the trainer was walking off with him and holding his arm bent and to his body. Glad everything came back clean, we need him. Tone setter for the D

-We need a great mix of power and creativity. -Build upon toney/pringle versatility
- trust the FR TE’s and sprinkle them in
- build upon loftons last game. Get him going early

You do the above and then the normal power run and other WR’s reps will succeed.

- ohh and we must win in a 52-10 type fashion.
if youre watching the game through the lens of a 52-10 must win, id go buy your xmas tree and enjoy family time,

Avg lolol they have been great
We have fallen way short of how we were on OLINE at times we show our dominance but it’s inconsistent.

If it wasn’t we wouldn’t were we are .

Tell me you don’t see the difference in October it radiates in weak focus line play .

I focus on line play because that’s were you win games

Yeah my boy was at the game and texted me "8 just broke his arm"

Real ******* cool. But it looks like that was the concern, but it's all good.

I think we are bit fatigued down the stretch here. How else do you explain mauling Notre dame and Florida but not the ACC
Maybe he should have kept his foot on the gas in most of these games and Bain, K Scott, Mesidor, etc wouldn’t have logged 60+ snaps in pretty much every game this season.

You guys are right , we’re dominating the line of scrimmage , I stand corrected and ready for a championship run.

My compliments

Our front (4) has been average in my eyes, best I feel means constant focus mauling which has been below average.
Mainly due to mental mistakes and lack of focus when we do we are a formidable front .

I feel we get tired in 4th quarter and frustrated with hands on hips play.

We need ND , turds and fsu type OLINE play to beat PITT . Up tempo mauling required here NO MORE THREE AND OUT OLINE PLAY, tired of it , our D will feed of of it in a blitz happy attack rampage.

If we three and out on first series POP TART will set in sadly this scares me very much.

We need to blow out PITT anything less we’ll drop in polls to a breakfast bowl
It’s post like this that confirm we all don’t watch the same game.

I hope we hit a reverse on a punt with Toney with a lateral to Marion. Hope he house that thang and blow the roof off that dumpster bin stadium. I think we need some special team juice early to get the guys going and blow these fools out.

I actually think that Mario finally gets it…hopefully it’s not too late.

I fully expect to see another wacky bag of tricks from Dawson and the offense. Because, well, it’s working. For three straight weeks we’ve seen new formations with new plays and different motion combinations. Every week I laugh harder and harder at that nerd who signed up for CIS just to argue with every poster about how we only ran a handful of plays because those were the only plays we knew how to run.

We’re up against another NC State type of team. One that looks good against bad teams but terrible against decent ones. They have one win against a bowl eligible opponent and it was last week against the most overrated team in the P5, Georgia Tech. Their quarterback can simultaneously look awesome and terrible at the same time. He’s a gunslinger who’s turnover prone and can be baited into interceptions like Bailey at NCSU. They don’t run the ball well so if we can rattle the QB, we should be sitting pretty.

Defensively they’re statistically solid but similar to the offense, they look incredible against weaker teams and have struggled against the better offenses on their schedule. They nearly pulled a Guidry last week. After jumping out to a 28-0 lead they allowed Georgia Tech to get back to 35-28 before icing the game with a long touchdown run late in the fourth quarter.

The game is at Pitt and Miami strangely has had a lot of success there despite playing in quite a few late season, cold weather games. Notre Dame handled them fairly easily in their house and if anyone is used to playing in a half-full pro stadium, it’s our guys.

Comfortable win but not a blowout 31-17.

contrast that with UM:

looks good against good teams, and like raw sewage against mediocre ones.

go figure.
