Napier...

Would be an absolute HR. Guy was OC at Clemson at the age of 29, and recruiting coordinator and pulled together the #2 rated class. In his first season as Clemson's coordinator, the 2009 Tigers scored a school-record 436 points and scored 54 touchdowns (third-most in school history), averaged 5.73 yards per play (fourth best) and finished as the ACC Atlantic Division champions. Went to Bama as offensive analyst, then with McElwain to Colorado State to coach QB's. Then came back to Bama. Guy has been surrounded by great coaches, knows what it takes to win, can recruit, has plenty of experience, and has been successful.

Just passing it along im not going to get into sources just what i heard if not ohh well been wrong before

And i dont use twitter no idea its posted there?

Interesting rumor.

Would allow Richt to make his son official QB coach groomed by Napier and daddy. Napier has QB coach experience.

It would look like this...

CO-OC/WR Billy Napier
CO OC/RB Thomas Brown
QB Jon Richt
OL Stacey Searels
TE Todd Hartley

Napier and Brown install the game plan and coordinate offense for CMR to call plays on Saturdays. CMR spends alot of time training QB's in tandem with his son.

There is no chance in **** Richt goes into next year with Richt Jr., Beard, Brown and Hartley as his offensive staff. Way too green.

CMR wants to be "hands on", but that doesn't mean he is going to be a position coach. Jimbo has always had a QB coach even thought he is the true QB coach.

This would be a strong move.

His most recent follow on twitter is Coach Banda.

What kind of a career arc is that? He was oc over a great offense, recruited the #2 class, he was young, and then his next gig is an analyst position, follows by qb coach, to wr coach. Just seems odd

Would be as big of a hire as Coach Kool. One of the hottest coaches out there. Huge if true.

Skeptical as heck.

Bright young coach, but cool your jets. A WR coach is nowhere near as significant as Kuligowski.

I remember him being a really young OC at Clemson. Didn't he get greased at Clemson and then Morris replaced him at OC and immediately turned the offense around?

That's the problem with reading bios. They leave out all the bad stuff. Pretty sure he tanked as Clemson OC and got canned.

*Napier spent five seasons with the Clemson Tigers (2006-10). He helped the Tigers lead the ACC in total offense, rushing offense and scoring offense in 2006. Napier became Clemson's youngest coordinator ever in 2009, taking over the offense at age 29. In his first year as offensive coordinator, Clemson set the school record for points scored (436) and won the ACC Atlantic Division. He served as the recruiting coordinator for three seasons (2006-08) and the '08 class was ranked No. 2 in the nation by ESPN.com.

Don't think he did a bad job at Clemson. He's had 2 stops at Bama, one year as Associate HC under Horseteeth out west & is considered one of the best recruiters out there. Feel like we needed one more stud recruiter.

Looks like he will be coming on board strong hire

Long time lurker with "inside sources"........ok

IMO I doubt MR takes someone from bama's staff. Heard that he was not too happy with the recent influx of bama at UGA......Sauces in my belly just dont feel like he would. could be wrong tho.

Love prediction season....all the *** hats with sources come out the woods to stir the masses. It is sometimes real entertaining.

Would love to hire him. Just don't think he'd be anywhere near as significant or impactful as Kuligowski.

What happened after that bio excerpt you bolder? You don't volunteer to go from P5 OC to video quality guy.
