Uhhhhh... didn't everyone who left pretty much goto the NFL..going back to Schnellie? Coker and Radio are the only two that stayed in college...well unemployed until picked up by another school..... I do believe JJ has some hardware after leaving UM

So 100% of the coaches who never won before Miami will win at Miami, GTK.

How would that even be possible. My god if douche bag is on your side you know better check yourself into rehab.

Have 100% of the coaches who have not won anything come here and won? Then why the F would this say that.

It says that Richt is the most successful coach we have ever hired. Throughout the history of Miami football you couldn't have been more happy than with the Richt hire. This is the first time we have ever gone out and gotten a extremely successful coach. The very first time.

To sit here and ****** when your team has done something better than they ever have means you are not a Miami fan and you don't understand the game of Miami football.

To sit here an ****** about how he has not won a title when no Miami coach has ever won a title before or after Miami is again proof that you have no clue about the history of Miami football and that your simply not a fan.

I get it... Bleeding vaginas ****** and do nothing else, but bleeding vaginas have no part in Miami football. Either be a part of the comeback or leave.

I am saying you're a potato.

**** you team golden slurper cheerleader

How about winning three national championships as a co-ordinator before coming to miami?
Frankly it is insulting that you have put Richt on the pedestal that you have with so little knowledge.

I guess there is already a **** in your holster and an obstruction in your eyes, so it makes sense.

you bbb guys are salty af.

Just so I'm clear.

We are comparing:

Jimmy Johnson and Oklahoma St (5 years)
Dennis Erickson and Idaho (4), Wyoming (1), Washigton ST (2)

to

Mark Richt and Georgia (15)

If you are speaking about coordinators, Schiano has had moderate success, Stoops has done a decent job, Sunny Lubick(sp) had a decent career, Tommy Tubberville as well; I do believe coordinators have had success after being here. Maybe not the ultimate success but they have been moderately successful.

If you are speaking about head coaches, that is rather difficult. Most have left for the pros or been fired for incompetence. A coach fired for poor performance is unlikely to find success after their time here because being a competent leader is important even at a school full of talent like Miami. However, Schnelly has made FAU a half decent program. Coker I believe is the only other Head Coach (in the modern era) to actually get another head gig. Sorry I don't know how he has done.

By the way, your question is not very clear.

I thought championships as a coordinator didn't count. That's what everyone was saying for Tom Herman

Seriously. That's all this is Bring Back Butch Bit*h Boys acting like a bunch of ***king ***** cause their idol is stuck in the unemployment line. True Miami fans are just freaking praying that Richt succeeds, desperately clinging to the one little bit of hope that we've had in the past decade.

lets be hones richt is most accomplished coach miami has hired since schnellenberger. yes howards success came as a coordinator in college and pros. richt though is way more accomplished then every other coach miami has hired.

that includes jj who may of been best coach miami had other then howard. i think people need to calm down and let richt actually coach a game or 2 at miami. this offense for one will score alot more with richt. he when calling plays at georgia and fsu scored 30 or more pts alot. , the d will be better by virtue of dumping donofrio.

u don't have to agree with all his hires but the 2 we know of are solid hires. harley is a solid special teams coordinator, and brown is more then solid rb coach. he may be young but he has had great success at wisconsin and gergia in that role. oh for those whining about recruiting go to stateoftheu.com and read who they are after. richt and his staff are after raekwon davis, another dt from louisiana 2 4 star det guys its a nice update.

Makes perfect logic right... smh

To be fair, we really won't know what Mark is capable of till year 3 or 4. I mean he needs to get his own recruits, possible a new home stadium... He is only making 4 mil, so until we pay him what Saban and Meyer are making we shouldn't expect winning andy NC's.

So you A$$ clowns that are hating when you have no clue about the history of Miami football and for college football in general I will wait for your answer.

Caution... while your looking I would first go buy another box of tampons because you pu$$ies will bleed to death before you find one that any of us have heard of.

And while your at it go find me one coach who ever came to Miami and won us a title that had more accolades than Richt comes in with.

The fact is that he is the most successful coach that Miami has ever hired. That's a mic dropping statement you blowhards.

Miami has made legends out of guys who couldn't sniff his success. If your hating at this point.. you are no longer a Miami fan. Leave you FN trolls!

Rude.

Butch Davis turned an 8 win UNC program into an 8 win program after he left here.

That, my friends, is a mic dropper.

That's why OP's original premise stands on clay feet. He's taking a guy who couldn't get it done at a comparable P5 program (Richt) and comparing him to a bunch of guys who did more with less at weak, overmatched programs (Erickson, JJ).

You guys must all be very young. By far the most successful coach the U has ever hired was Saben. Look him up. Richt has the second best resume as a head coach. Saben even won a championship in the pros before he came here. Richt was successful, but he never won anything bigger than the SEC.

Lets hope Mark is more successful than Lou Saban.
