I didn’t bet because I never disagreed. I never contended that Rosier was good or accurate, but that the guys behind him weren’t ready.

It would seem that Richt’s plan to ease N’kosi into action rather than press the issue is paying off.

So funny this immense total overreaction to Perry playing. Scored 31 pts against FIU. Only 7 pts in the second half. He obviously has a lot of work to do. No one would accept this performance from Rosier
What? So it’s his fault he didn’t score another TD at he end? He called that stupid sweep?

A plus is we didn't need 4 downs to move the ball with Perry in the game.

Even if Perry had 2 ints it would have been no different since that is what Rosier does on the regular but completes 52% of his passes.

The one thing I will say is he will miss the QB draw. Say what you want but it was fairly effective even when it was predictable.

he definately l

Really dude? you are better than this
I know this might be hard to swallow but that QB we trotted out there after the second possession wins us the LSU game and probably blows them out. His placement is 4x times better even on throws he shouldn’t throw, the way we move is 4x better, everybody around him gets better. I don’t need to see him against FSU or NC to be able to see that.

I saved the posts where I laid out the stats explaining why Rosier was not going to be successful based on his completion percentage and you put on your Captain Save-A-Ho cape and insisted that the stats were irrelevant because Rosier was a winner. I appreciate what Rosier did, but also knew, from many years of watching football that the acc coastal was the absolute limit for Rosier.

I then bet you $200 that Rosier wouldn't finish season as a qb but you didn't have the balls to back up your stance. I don't normally gloat but you and PickleRicht were especially irritating because you thought you were the smartest guys in the room all off-season. You aren't fooling anyone pretending that you weren't the biggest proponent for keeping Rosier at qb.
.

Yes, given that we went from the depths of **** into being national title contenders AND that all of the offseason practice reports were telling us how awful Perry was, I thought we should've kept Rosier as the QB at least for LSU. Now that we've found that those practice reports from our experts were trash and that Perry is obviously ready, he should take over. All of us are Canes fans and we all want the best QB to start. Unfortunately only few people have access to practices and scrimmages so we have to go off of their reports. Most people on here said Perry would transfer, why don't you show your screenshots of those "irritating" posters.

These guys don't get it. I see the same theme whenever people argue politics. "You don't agree with me, so X, Y, and Z MUST be your position". People don't listen to understand, they listen to respond.

I guess CMR finally read some threads here... redemption is still attainable for him. I'm a happy camper today.

The best thing I noticed was his ball placement. Most of the time it was right where it needed to be. He tucks it a little too often for my liking, and he will make mistakes. However, I think he clearly gives us a better chance to win going forward. The team looked much more excited behind Perry as well.

Really looking forward to him against UNC, who suddenly has a pulse. Hopefully Richards and Thomas will be back too.

Okay guys, there’s no need to try to diminish how Perry played. He made a few mistakes, but that’s to be expected. He played extremely well and the 1st string defense was absolutely dominant. This thread shouldn’t devolve into a Player trashing session. We played phenomenal until the 3rd and 4th string defense hit the field.

Agreed. He was out in front on most of his balls giving guys opportunities to make plays.

1. It's hilarious how the only thumbs up that you and LooseCannon get are from each other.

2. Guess you conveniently forgot this entire thread:
AP ACC Breakout Players to Look Out For in 2018 - QB Malik Rosier

I explained that Rosier's numbers were similar to Trevor Knight's, another "10 win qb", and I predicted that Rosier's inaccuracy was going to cost him his job despite being a "winner" just like it cost Knight his job. You can read the rest of your ridiculous posts in that thread where you white knighted for Rosier.

Lies. Nobody would say shît if rosier would play every week like kosi did today.

Should have won the job from the rip and could have had 3 games to get the jitters out now you want to finally start him as we get into conference play when there were 2 games before he literally could not have lost. I just find it hard to believe that they didn't see this in practice that the whole offense just feels better with him in.
