I won't speak for all the maudes, but that particular poster is known for his wide-ranging mood swings and emotional takes. The post you quoted didn't even register for me, to be honest.

Edit: As @AtlAtty alluded to, leaving those sorts of posts up is more educational. If we delete all of the terrible posts, how will people know how wildly unhinged some of these posters are?
