2027 Myson Johnson-Cook 2027 RB

This is a major loss if we lose him. 220 pound rbs with speed don’t grow on trees anywhere in the country. When they are that big (pause) they are usually slow asf and are playing another position.

I really don’t like the small rbs because when come playoff time you can’t bully people and they get destroyed on blitz pickups. Pringle got destroyed on a pickup in the playoffs and never played again, rightfully so

Look at the draft and all the running backs taken the last like 8 years or even further. I haven’t looked this is just off the top of my head and I might make myself look retarded. I bet the first backs all were like 210-215 and up that can run away and break arm tackles
Well we diasgree but that's cool because we all have our opinions. I live in Boca and have seen Mallory play several times and barring injury he should be a very productive RB for UM. A major loss would be losing a guy like Mensah.

You think Mario is gonna lose a recruit to Kentucky?

Under Mario, I agree. Mario will find an adequate replacement 9 out of 10 times. Even losing a Top 5 player like Jeremiah Smith didn't stop our program from improving all-up. It all depends on who you get to replace the loss (e.g., Toney) and what other pieces you have around them (e.g., a Top 3 OL last season).

Mensah is almost irreplaceable. You can do it. We went really far with Beck. But that would be a tough loss. I don't think any RB would have that level of impact.

Ashton Jeanty 5-8 1/2 211
Omarion Hampton 6' 220
Bijan Robinson 5-11 215
Jahmyr Gibbs 5-9 199
Najee Harris 6-2 235
Travis Etienne 5-10 215
Clyde Edwards-Hilare 5-7 207
Josh Jacobs 5-10 22l
Saquan Barkley 6-0 233
Rashad Penney 5-11 220

These are the last 10 first round running backs with their listed height and weights. Gibbs is the only definite outlier, with Edwards-Hilare borderline. You are 100% correct that the NFL likes larger backs in the first round. Even "smaller" backs like Cristian Mcaffrey are listed around 210. You have to go all the way back to 2010 to CJ Spiller to see a small back drafter 1st round besides Gibbs.

Gibbs the only one where I wanted the giants to take him in the first round. I thought he was a top ten player that draft did not care about his size pause

Cool to disagree nothing wrong with that. But our rb coach who I am thankful thinks like that. He said when he was interviewed we want big backs pause or we like big backs. Something like that he said

And bama had all the big backs who could run during their Saban years

Yea this ain’t D. Rose

We ain’t losing him to Kentucky
If he ends up at Kentucky then they are probably offering him 150 mil. Yes that's an exaggeration. Idiots just trying to stir **** up almost a week away.
Do? The state of Kentucky even have a 150 million in total after the basketball team take 12 million, Relax we will get him Peter ariz with these fugazi comments. Gets under canes fans skin! The guy is so wishy washing. I wonder why he doesn't do the same for ours basketball team
