What is there to be optimistic in? This is what I don't understand. We've done something that hasn't worked. Why would it all of a sudden work? What am I missing there? When dealing with emotional SLURPERS, one must toss aside all logic and reason. Improvements will occur simply because of desirability, wishes, unicorn convergence, the alignment of distant star clusters, and gosh we really want/need it.

There are also those who are so invested in Grolden, that they can't face up to the fact that they may have picked the wrong horse.

Some like Grolden on superficialities: white shirt; orange tie; well scrubbed white skin; clean cut hair; speaks/lies well. He presented a reputed 300-page binder as a testament to his football knowledge. Never mind that his football IQ doesn't even rise to the level of Al Groh (a totally discredited LOSER), his mentor.

It's difficult understanding the illogical mind of a SLURPER. Indeed, I'm taking quite an intellectual risk in trying to do so. Pray for me.

Arguing against further destroying and hamstringing the program, making any return to glory even further down the road, if ever, does not equate to supporting Golden. Leaving the team with fewer quality recruits and less money because you think that blowing everything up is the solution is just plain stupid, no matter what lame attempts at justifying it you may try. If the news came out today that Golden was fired, I'd be fine with it IF, and that's a big IF, he is replaced by a quality replacement. Firing for the sake of firing isn't going to help the program one bit.

You sound like an idiot since I'm not talking about one individual not going to games. I'm talking about the idiots who do nothing but spew negativity and hate, the idiots who want to fly banners (especially when there are a lot of recruits), the idiots who say that recruits are stupid to come here, the idiots who say that anyone who does go to games is not a fan. Your few bucks are irrelevant. Don't go, you won't be missed. The idea of many on here that doing everything and anything to try to destroy the program so they can "rebuild it" in their image is what is stupid.

No. I have no direct way of knowing, but DK72, UKnow, Centralrockets, CFLACANE, dukejuke, CaneFan235 and a few others sound exactly like AD employees.

No one is that damned dense. It's on purpose, as they're right on top of every derogatory comment. Gotta be getting paid. ****, Golden could personally hire a half-dozen retards out of the $2.5M salary, and all they gotta do is try to defend the indefensible.

A number of people are stupid, and due to genetic deficiencies or brain injuries, they simply can't help it.

You, on the other hand, elect to ignore a large volume of proof accumulated over years, simply to promote an emotionally generated continuation of a huge mistake the University made, and then complicates further.

Some I mentioned appear to work for the UM AD, others appear to be related to the coaching staff, and if you're not AD, you must be a relative, trying to protect your family member's job. Either way, your intense level of replies to almost every single criticism is evidence of a misplaced loyalty to someone other than the football program.

I know you're not a businessman. I know you're not military. I know you're not in management. I know you're not in a professional association. And you certainly never, ever took a course in cost accounting. Nor do you have any understanding of ROI, or return on investment.

If you have an inferior product, you'll lose in the marketplace, no matter how much you promote it. If you have production assets that cost more to operate than they produce, it's not an asset, but a liability.

If a plant costs more to maintain than it produces, the existing plant must be closed, and you must build a more efficient, better producing plant in its place. Otherwise, you're throwing good money after bad.

The UM AD produces an inferior product. The sooner we eliminate current management with producing management, the sooner we obtain a top product that gives a good return on investment.

Donna is as good as gone. Now we need a President that demands a superior product. It's not coming from this coaching staff. You suggest that those who recognize an inferior product, and elect not to artificially support the existing inferior product are not fans. Quite the opposite.

They understand something you clearly don't.
