Pullin a game like him or Alex Golesh seem impossibleI prefer Jeff Lebby.

I think had an All ACC title last year as a true Freshman. 247 claimed he was a 5 star.0 on defense fits that "culture problem" y'all have. I don't know what to make of him when I watch him. He should be All ACC but watching him, he seems to want to buy in whenever he feels like it since he's not being held accountable

I use action network's. And excuse me UM is 28th, not 24. Va is 24, I had em mixed em because it's the matchup this weekJust exactly where is this mythical "tempo" stat kept, please?
ExactlyHeupel took a team with just a bad “culture” of losing and a 3-7 record and a couple vt rejects
And went 7-6 with a top 25 win
And by year two his team is rolling
I’ll give him this year but if this team doesn’t take a massive step forward next year
He’s a jag coach
And we’ll just be an avg team
Even cmr took a major jump year two
BUT
How did we appear to have buy-in until we went just happy to compete against A&M and couldn’t get in the endzone?
Did that lose the team for Mario leading into the 4 losses in 5 games?
Nothing you said is wrong, but I gave you the finger anyway.Y'all can middle finger me and **** talk me all you want for what i'm about to say but this is just an my opinion on what I see when I watch y'all play.
I watch Miami football and what I see on the field are players (not all but a lot) who either aren't good enough or they just do whatever the **** they want to do out on the field (on the defensive side of the ball).
However I feel about Cristobal as a game day coach is useless when I WILL admit he's inherited a MESS when it comes to the players he was left with from Diaz. Napier has to flip the talent from strictly a talent perspective but Cristobal has to flip that roster from a talent and culture perspective. He's going to have to completely strip it down there along with having complete buy in from the athletic department to give him time and whatever he realistically ask for because this is NOT a quick fix.
Outside of someone like Saban, Miami would have the same record with any JUST ABOUT any other coach in America. I don't think Miami would have more than 2 wins if they played the schedule Gators have played so far (and yes, I DO know Miami is decimated by injuries at the moment). That's how bad of a mess it is this season for y'all.
Cristobal gotta attack the portal this offseason like his career depends on it
other observations:
1. Gattis gotta speed it up offensively. Waiting till 10 secs and below to get the snap off is just too prodding.
2. Y'all sure y'all don't have anyone better than 11 at LB?
3. 12 should get 10 plus touches a game. He's underutilized.
4. 88, 12, 23, 85 should be 4 pass catchers on the field when y'all go with 4 pass catchers. I don't know how y'all stomach watching 5 out there at WR, I don't see it with him.
5. Burn 11 redshirt and get him close to 10 snaps a game at QB. Too dynamic
6. 64 is LEGIT at RG
Just exactly where is this mythical "tempo" stat kept, please?
Cmr won 9 in year 1 w a golden team that got blown the **** out by Clemson at home like we were Bethune and lost to a sitting us senator and struggled w fau. We also didn’t get blown out in year 1 in any game under richt.Heupel took a team with just a bad “culture” of losing and a 3-7 record and a couple vt rejects
And went 7-6 with a top 25 win
And by year two his team is rolling

Don't disagree but what about the injury factor and NO depth. This contributed to fumbles.......... You.can't play 3 rd and 4 th level players and expect to win.You aren't wrong on really anything. I think the consensus is that it's the same players or better than last year, plus what is on paper supposed to be an elite staff. Then you have the addition of funding into the program and extra analysts and all these things that were supposed to 'help', yet we get the blunders of the MTSU game, and now Duke.
I believe all things staying the same, a different OC or scheme would have had us at 5 wins minimum, possibly 6. It's hard to overcome the defensive and ST ***** ups, but realistically just that alone would probably be good enough, with room for improvement for the other facets.
It's like I said in the other thread it is probably 65% coaches faults and 35% players faults. The culture part is built into that 35%. Culture is only a piece of the pie. Good coaching staff should be able to get buy-in and coach up and develop the players. I'm reserving full judgement for the end of year 2 with mario to decide. But, yes it is still too early to tell.
Some positives with the corching staff is that they have made changes relatively quickly and they have had some good evals (a thing we seem to have been lacking with the past staff)
Side note, are you sure you aren't a closet miami fan?
**** 7 weeks into the Mario regime and even the Gaytes feel bad for us.
One decent gator and he's here.
Comparatively? He is here, but decent??/...........not too sure.......![]()
![]()
Yes in an evaluative process kind of way.........that's it....never trust anyone but your Mom.................and watch her...same applies to Gators..yes...but?????Comparatively?
That's blasphemous in swamp land!!@flagator86 not even Tebow could save us?
**** man now you posting on the regular board..0 on defense fits that "culture problem" y'all have. I don't know what to make of him when I watch him. He should be All ACC but watching him, he seems to want to buy in whenever he feels like it since he's not being held accountable
