My perspective on Miami as a Gator fan

The saddest thing about this whole thread is that most of us agree with every point the OP made but the gator hate is so deeply ingrained (almost from birth) that we simply can't stand hearing it from him no matter how gracious he is.

The old adage is that we don't want to hear about our family problems from an outsider.

thanks for pointing out what we all see for ourselves but hope it will get better FAST !!

Y'all can middle finger me and **** talk me all you want for what i'm about to say but this is just an my opinion on what I see when I watch y'all play.

I watch Miami football and what I see on the field are players (not all but a lot) who either aren't good enough or they just do whatever the **** they want to do out on the field (on the defensive side of the ball).

However I feel about Cristobal as a game day coach is useless when I WILL admit he's inherited a MESS when it comes to the players he was left with from Diaz. Napier has to flip the talent from strictly a talent perspective but Cristobal has to flip that roster from a talent and culture perspective. He's going to have to completely strip it down there along with having complete buy in from the athletic department to give him time and whatever he realistically ask for because this is NOT a quick fix.

Outside of someone like Saban, Miami would have the same record with any JUST ABOUT any other coach in America. I don't think Miami would have more than 2 wins if they played the schedule Gators have played so far (and yes, I DO know Miami is decimated by injuries at the moment). That's how bad of a mess it is this season for y'all.

Cristobal gotta attack the portal this offseason like his career depends on it

other observations:

1. Gattis gotta speed it up offensively. Waiting till 10 secs and below to get the snap off is just too prodding.

2. Y'all sure y'all don't have anyone better than 11 at LB?

3. 12 should get 10 plus touches a game. He's underutilized.

4. 88, 12, 23, 85 should be 4 pass catchers on the field when y'all go with 4 pass catchers. I don't know how y'all stomach watching 5 out there at WR, I don't see it with him.

5. Burn 11 redshirt and get him close to 10 snaps a game at QB. Too dynamic

Completely disagree about having the same record with any other coach. I've always favored Lane since I saw him alot live at FAU but I believe just about any other modern offensive coach would have beat MTSU and split the Duke/UNC game even with the injuries, players bad play, n bad culture.

Just because OP brought up the middle finger I had to do it. Some good points tho. Brown has one more game to play before they have to make a decision. Obviously if Garcia gets hurt or sucks then **** it burn the shirt.
OP is cool asf.
Deadass, Florida University should be grateful to have a fan like my guy. He's like their Emmitt Smith.
Florida U makes one more wrong turn, he finna be a Canes fan. He got one foot in the door, he's on CIS.

Yes I remember I gave him **** because I thought he was a troll but he’s a solid dude. He doesn’t start **** here so no one should start **** with him.

good read. I would add 0 has no fokyn clue half the time, 8 gonna 8, 4 can’t catch to save his life, 15 is overrated, the 2 UCLA transfers suck but overall you’re right. No ill intention to you for point out our deficiencies and since you’re right and a gator

Fair take brother. Can’t disagree. Dammit man. You know we are only supposed to chill together in Gator Tears. I don’t know why burning Brown’s redshirt is even a question. If he can help with 3 plays a game…burn it. He is here to compete and help the team win. I’m liking that kid. Recruit someone else in a few years then.

You know what I gotta do and why

We have recruits that wanted to see the offense and that scares the **** out of people…

Because to replace Gattis… he can’t ******* take until Easter
You’re not wrong. I just think he can sell look what the guys I brought in are doing. You could be that guy. It’s not a great method for HS guys, but one and dones it’ll sell.

Heupel took a team with just a bad “culture” of losing and a 3-7 record and a couple vt rejects
And went 7-6 with a top 25 win
And by year two his team is rolling
I’ll give him this year but if this team doesn’t take a massive step forward next year
He’s a jag coach
And we’ll just be an avg team
Even cmr took a major jump year two
