My biggest concern is having a bye week

We will be so HYPED and focused for this game. This is a new ERA this year. What else can be said. I'M not worried at all being flat. Finally, we are recognized again. ***** the alabama and Clemson
 
There's going to be no overlooking Clemson. It's safe to say Clemson has got our attention. This bye happens to come at a good time to get those bumps and bruises healed up. Everyone will need to go full bore.

The real challenge is going to be the following week.
 
Conjecture here, but I don’t think Ed Reed and Lashlee/King infusion lets a repeat of the bye-week malaise. Also, this years O isn’t three and out, this allows for the D to be coached on the sidelines, as opposed to a 5-bell fire alarm every 30 seconds after an impotent O’s return to the sidelines with a limp ****, last year.

In 88 the Catholics vs Convicts game
In 89 the FSU game
In 94 The Washington game where our 58 game streak ended
In 99 The Penn State game
In 99 BC game down 28-0 at half came back to win
In 01 the VT game where we hung on
In 03 the VT game where we got hammered
In 04 VT again
 
[]__[] have nothing to lose and I think we'll play well, but the key to the game is our DL.

I'm pretty sure they'll play some of that 58 - 0 beatdown before we get on the bus, and that should be all the motivation they need.

Seriously, a week ago people are saying Miami is "back" and now after getting humbled by Clemson, the fear is a bye week?

No, this is what they were saying before playing Clemson, given our history of coming our flat after bye weeks the last 5 years.

This is the 3rd time you’ve tagged me in this same post in the past 12 hours, so I apologize if I triggered some feelings. But I’m gonna tell you the same thing I told you last night: we were outmatched and outclassed at every position group. We were also out schemed and out coached. It had nothing to do with the players coming out flat.

If you think it somehow woulda been a different result if we weren’t coming off a bye, then I’m here to tell you that you are 100% mistaken.

But you said only dopes think we would come out flat, even after many of us said we have a history of this. The entire team, players and coaches, were flat. Own it.
