He's a Clinton advisor and was the Supreme Allied Commander Europe under Obama.
Not really difficult to figure out.
He's taken minor shots at Obama on Twitter and (based on a cursory glance) seems to think we can still win in Afghanistan. I've also seen him pushing for closing Gitmo and wanting to open a dialogue with Iran so he's probably more moderate than some of us would like but definitely not a typical liberal academic. Right now I'll take someone that doesn't list a leadership role in Obama For America on their resume as a positive change. Nothing to get excited about yet but a net positive. The biggest joke of all is that the Midget Queen has somehow fooled some people into thinking she's a moderate. The only thing that even remotely
kept her in check is that our BoT uniquely has a few people that lean right.
When has she been kept in check? I struggle to think of an instance
I'm kinda thinking more big picture. We're not really known as a liberal university although I'm sure Donna would love if we more resembled Berkeley. We also haven't had any socialist type professors force a spotlight on the school for doing or teaching some insane nonsense. I'm just saying that it seems like they've kept her so busy fundraising and focusing on the medical school that she thankfully didn't get to leave that big a social imprint on the school.
i can think of a few in the law school who 20 years ago championed ***** Law and similar subjects.
Frank Valdes -

During this time, Dr. Valdes' work on constitutional theory, critical race studies and
***** scholarship also has been published in numerous law reviews, other academic journals and various book anthologies, including both specialty and mainstream venues.
Not surprisingly, "Dr. Valdes now lives in Miami Beach, Florida, with Peppy, his friend (and dog)."

She is essentially a communist.
