Instead of them creating sub packages as a hybrid lber/de to maximize his skill set they rather just keep passing him around until he decides to transfer bc they have no real plan on how to use him.

They have a hybrid LB/DE position on the defense. They call it the viper spot. Joyner keeps moving back and forth because he’s not particularly good at either spot.
