moving forward, do we give Jacurri the rest of the snaps?

TVD has a torn AC joint. That's not going to fully heal by the Clemson game. They can numb his shoulder and he'd probably be able to get on the field, but he's going to be thinking about protecting himself and also not have the same type of command of his passing. I say the better move is to go with Brown and just try to keep the gameplan simple. Get him on the move as much as possible, make sure he understands that he can't force passes, and basically try to play Clemson like we played TAMU. We're likely not going to win with either QB, but I think the risk of TVD damaging his shoulder further is a deciding factor.

I think so. But Mario has thrown out there that TVD could come back this year.

I think Brown continues to develop as a passer and the added threat to run opens up the passing. Something you don’t get with TVD.

Maybe he develops like a Hooker at Tennessee under the right tutelage.
 
I mean the kid cares. Van Dyke and Garcia have checked out. Plus the issue is not only coaches. Players play different when a different QB plays. Shows the immaturity on this team. A lot of these kids don’t care. And Mario is going to fix that next year.

This kid seems to have all the tangibles and intangibles...

I wasn't talking about you or anyone specific. This board has a short memory. I just hope Jacurri isn't public enemy #2 after next week behind Gattis. Because that ***** gonna be ugly.
 
You rest tvd the rest of the year and play brown. Gattis has to open yp the passing game a little bit though, cant just pound the kid Into the Dl.

oh yeah, absolutely understood

But this season being what it is, I just want to salvage something. What Wes B is to our defense, maybe Jacurri can be for our offense. This guy brings an element we've never had at the position at UM
 
Stop rotating QBs. Brown or Garcia for the last 3 games needed to be the decision going into the game.

The decision was Brown. We won. Stick with him now.

TVD playing last week was a circus. Him getting hurt and going back in was a great recruiting clip against us. Don’t do it again.
