moving forward, do we give Jacurri the rest of the snaps?

I joke that Madden's recommended plays offer more variety than Gattis playbook. But at this point its true. Even Richt didn't call this many draws on 1st down. I've never seen anything like what Gattis is doing.

I saw one play where the entire offense was lined up ready to go except for the RB and Jacurri. Those two were looking at the sidelines for the play. After they got it, neither Jacurri or the RB relayed the play to the other 9 guys on the field.

In other words, everyone already knew it was going to be a run. Including the D. Those 2 were just looking to see which one would get it. And shocker.. it was a run up the middle that went nowhere.

How about no turnovers? And he made some throws on 3rd down. Amazing what happens with no turnovers and you allow your team to play. Kudos to rooster too. He was holding on to the ball like an old lady with a Virginia ham under her arm.
 
I think you stick with Brown this year. Get him as many reps as possible now. Live with the bad.
Gut feeling that both TVD and JG hit the portal, especially if we don’t hire outside the current staff for OC.

Not to downplay the OP but who else would get the snaps? TVD seems like he’s out for the year and Jake is either shook or no better than a high school QB. At least we can see a future with Jacurri.
 
He played very well today. It was his first start! 3 passing TD’s, 90 yards rushing, no turnovers. If he had a legit OC he’d look better too.

Will every play be a qb run?

Do whatever you need to do to "trick" both TVD and Jacurri into coming back next year. Start the year with TVD as QB1 but with A LOT of packages where Jacurri sees action. If you need to make a move to Jacurri then you do. If not then he's at least under the illusion that he has a clear path to this being his team in 2024....if he beats out Emory.
 
I don't know. What I don't want to see is constant back and forth in the same game. Having said that, if Tvd is healthy and gets the nod, would like to see Jacurri still get some play. Just make sense with the rotations. If TVD is feeling it, let him roll. Same with Jacurri. We know now he can make enough "good" plays.
