Move Brown to Safety or Nickle

Thornton has been good with the exception of getting burned on a double-move vs. Wake - you guys are insufferable: you take on anecdote and extrapolate a narrative about a guy to write him off.

That's your opinion. In my opinion he has not played good. He has been a decent blitzer that's it. I never wrote him off I said he should be played on running downs and in a better position to succeed.

Wonder how much his turf toe or foot injury has sidetracked his career. Those types of injuries can end a career. It’s been a minute since he’s been healthy but I remember him being better in coverage back in 2023. Seeing him now he looks stiff, even compared to some of his play last year when he was available.

Thread title explains it's self. I think Damari Brown would do well in that role. He is physical and has the prototypical size for both positions. If Brown's body can hold up I say move him and get some of the younger cover corners some playing time.

Unfortunately Thorton has had a really rough start to the year. His coverage hasn't been good honestly from the first game. The man he is guarding be it man or zone almost always catches the ball for a significant gain.

Moving Brown will help improve his coverage as well and then Thorton can play on strictly running downs. Also hope we continue to see Dylan Day in the mix.
