Most underrated player in the class?

sub 4.6 laser 40 @ 200 pounds works lol

He was a nice pick up as an OLB...with him and Campbell like i said getting to the sidelines on those two will be difficult...they can both run. Just need that thumping Mike to solidfy the lb class which is what they are after.
Gaby said on ITU that Campbell likely to become an EDGE, you buy that?

Can't speak to Campbell. But from Edwards' film, he definitely looks like a Jack to me. Maybe people are right though and he can play OLB. I just don't see enough evidence of it on that HUDL highlight. He's fast and violent coming downhill though.

hes saying that because for the most part thats all he is playing at mnw right now.

he can play lb here. And our edges we are looking for are bigger the smaller edge we already have locked in...Asarri Charles....and he is like 6'2 235
Thanks.

Does he have experience playing LB, i.e. playing in space? I really dislike trying to turn undersized DEs into LBs. If you have don't have the ability to read/diagnose plays at18 y.o., chances are you'll never get it.

I'd much rather try to convert an oversized Safety into a LB because the skills are much more similar.

A 235lb de that is 17 ends up at 260-270 within 3 years most times. These kids hit college and get tons of food and lifting.

Where are you guys getting OLB from?
We're mostly in a 4-2-5, which means there's only 2 LB's on the field...
The Will (who lines up to the boundary) and the Mike (who lines up to the field).

First 2 things Hetherman is looking for is (1) speed and (2) length.

Today's LB's have to be able to cover, so the days of having a thick-ankled "downhill thumper" are gone. That's why Popo is limited. We're not recruiting guys like that anymore.

They like JJ cause he's switchy, long and violent. They're projecting him as an ILB.

I don't know though…Toure is basically the definition of "downhill thumper" and they don't take him off the field no matter how bad he struggles in coverage (I'm not saying he isn't good at what he does, because he is…but he struggles in coverage). We have Pruitt rotting on the bench (or going back and forth between safety and LB whatever he is this week) and he can't see the field at all, even in passing downs.
