Most under-appreciated hurricane ever?

Player - Sam shields. Dude lost his spot but still worked his *** off on special teams..

Coach - DC Randy shannon

Tremain Mack. Kevin Beard. Andre King. Freddie Capshaw. Carlos Huerta. Ethnic Sands. Jason Geathers.

my vote goes to Jason Geathers

scored the go ahead TD vs FSU in 02,and a couple of TDs vs the Gators that year in the swamp as well

never got a chance to blossom at one position or he would've been a much bigger name

Matt Walters. Everyone remembers Ed Reed's TD return that sealed the Boston College game where they were about to finish off a game winning drive. But everyone forgets that Matt Walters made the interception and handed it to Reed for the TD return. Without the Walter's INT, BC scores, wins the game, and Miami probably doesn't make it to the National Title game and beats Nebraska.

That's impossible, Butch's teams never played down the level of their opponent.

had more to do with dorsey 5 INTs

I have to say that Reed's TD return is by far the most overappreciated play in Canes history. Because he was actually a dumbass not to fall to the ground and allow the Miami offense to knee the game out. Imagine if he has fumbled the ball and given BC the ball back?

Chuck Foreman was a unique back that most fans forget attended The U. He could catch the rock out of the backfield, break away in the open field, and wasn't afraid to truck someone. I'll never get how he allowed his son to play linebacker at Nebraska in the mid nineties.
