I posted before who i thought was underappreciated....The great Dan Morgan.
One of my favorites...I lost my voice on his INT and long return against FSU in 94...Almost scored...CJ Richardson was one mean hitter.. and i don't think he was that big? anyone confirm that my memory served me right? Loved that #19!
Scott could throw a FB through a wall..Absolute Rifle...Top 5 Arms in UM History...Add S. Covington and D. Crawford to our lists.
Marino did the same thing to JJ with the Fins...I think Geoff Toretta, had the most passing yards in a game when Vinny got hurt in a motor scooter accident and to this day wish JJ had substituted him in for Vinny in the Fiesta Bowl. If I ever meet JJ that will be my first question, from people I've met they say JJ and Stevens did not want Vinny to check out of run plays but he kept doing it and throwing int's. If they had given the ball to Highsmith on every play they would've crushed PSU.
Yesss....That was one of my late cousin favorite UM plays....He went crazy bc he felt that if FSU scored it would've gotten FSU to a new level. One of my favorites...I lost my voice on his INT and long return against FSU in 94...Almost scored...
Exactly....CJ was no joke...Yesss....That was one of my late cousin favorite UM plays....He went crazy bc he felt that if FSU scored it would've gotten FSU to a new level.
I think it also had to do with all the Sanction crap...any other yrs he'd be revered alot more. Tough times for alot of players.Bubba Franks. How a former first round pick, who was an All-American, never gets mentioned is beyond me. I think he just got overshadowed by Shockey and then KWII, but he never gets his due.
Yeah, Tremain Mack is another from that era that is underappreciated IMO.I think it also had to do with all the Sanction crap...any other yrs he'd be revered alot more. Tough times for alot of players.
Absolutely...In both cases there was a No Bowl or TV for a yr...that certainly didn't help as well...Yeah, Tremain Mack is another from that era that is underappreciated IMO.
Brad Kaaya
Holds a bunch of records but some of us still have to defend why he started over Ryan Williams towards the end of the season.
