Yes, this staff has ruined Howard and is doing their best to ruin the career of Burns and Carter.

Bush and Elder seem impervious to the suckitude of Paul Williams.

Jenkins, Crawford, Johnson were all ball-hawking playmakers in high school.

I can't think of anyone I'd rather not have in charge of this unit than Williams. I hope that midget gets stuffed inside a locker by a player with some balls.

When you aren't pressuring the QB and lining up with the intention of giving up ten yards every play, I'm not sure how you can pin anything on Williams. From the snap, the secondary is playing at a disadvantage, but the typical know nothing fan wants to point fingers at the players and position coach. The defense is dictated by Coach No'D, that's where your ire should be directed. Fact is, we don't know what we've got with Williams, but that's certainly not popular opinion around these parts and he's an easy target because of the system.

He's an easy target because our players develop Down's Syndrome when the ball's in the air. I've never seen a group of people so poorly trained at doing something so basic.

doesn't matter when the QB has all day to throw. we will get shredded again by C- QB's

Position coaches can't possibly coach players up on things like ball skills....

I would argue it is harder to teach someone to assume downs syndrome than play a ball in the air. Nice subtle compliment rok.

No shortage of pass rushers this season

McCord
Kamalu
AQM
Thomas
Harris
Jackson
Owens

I remember one play last season where the ball was in the air for 10 seconds and T. Howard never looked up.

Paul Williams is a HUGE part of the problem

PW doesn't even sit at the table with the coaches. He's a grade A ******.

Jesus people have you not been paying attention the last 3 or 4 years talent is NEVER the problem at Miami

from watching videos of their practice, it doesn't appear that williams teaches them to find the ball or play with their head on a swivel.

Number of career sacks by each of these players:

McCord (10.5)
Kamalu (7.0)
AQM (2.0)
Thomas (0.0)
Harris (0.0)
Jackson (0.0)
Owens (0.0)

Scary...

Talented group but our front 4 needs to pressure the qb for them to shine. Can't cover for 4 seconds at a time. However, we should have the talent to apply pressure...Could be nice.

Agree that this unit has played below it's talent.

I think 2010 had more talent though - Ray Ray, Telemaque, DVD, Harrris, McGee, Hill, JoJo
