I have it as georgia tech 2005. Cant think of one with more actual significance since then. 12 years. ****

FSU 2013 when we were 7-0 and ranked 7th. The VT game the following week, at 7-1 was for the division and pretty big as well.

The WV bowl win, momentum matters and beating WV helped carry it into '17.

If you are talking about meaningful games from an ACC Coastal POV, there have been lots of games that mattered like last year's FSU, UNC, VT games and this year's FSU, GT games. This one means a little more as we potentially claim the ACC Coastal. Pretty sure we had that chance a few years back as well.

Before the bowl win, 2002 or 2003?

Its the 2002 national title because anything in between there was a mirrage. It actually meant nothing because of who our ****head coaches were.

Since last week!!! A lose to UNC would have been so deflating for our boys and would have definitely had a spiraling down effect. A lose vs UNC would have set the U back so **** much specially with the recruits to come. Even if the impression of a convincing victory wasn’t there. A win is a win! Like Vin Diesel said in fast and furious ( whether you win by an inch or by a mile, A win is a win!!)

Yep.

Every game is a playoff at this point. Shoot, the UVA and Pitt games will be out most meaningful when we get to them.

nah. 2013 was smoke and mirrors. anyone that watched us play up to that point knew that we were going to get smacked going into that game, and once duke was taken out, the season was over. we were only up to #7 because people ahead of us kept losing and we had a dog **** schedule up to that point.

anyone without homer glasses on knew we were going to get crushed that night after the unc and wake forest games leading into it.

GT 2005

FSU 2013 was big however it did not determine the coastal

this game has playoff implications AND can seal the coastal (assuming GT smashes Virginia like we all expect)

I still think 2013 VT. Y'all must have forgotten the context. We were both 7-1 going into the game. We had just lost to FSU, but we were at home and the stadium was hyped. One of the best crowds I can remember for a non FSU/UF game. It was pouring rain. We come out the gate and Coley houses a screen for like 70 yards 3.5 minutes in. It felt like it was about to be a route. Then, the wheels completely come off. Artie fumbles a kick off. Bad snap on a punt put them at the 17. Completely **** the bed. We had a legit shot at the division that night and choked it away. In hindsight, it was probably for the best, because we were fraudulent and it probably would have given Golden more margin. I hope we have a better outcome this Saturday
