Most Draft picks in the last 5 years

This is just silly.

The geniuses on this message board said the same thing about Allen Hurns despite the fact that he is 9th all-time in receiving yards and his 2013 season is the best in school history (1,162 yards).
Cool story. Who are u again?

Wasn’t necessarily mismanagement, Damien berry was a good back in my opinion and miller played a lot as a redshirt freshman

Berry had a huge heart and had great instincts, but very little athletic talent. He's a great cane and made some plays when everyone was hurt. That doesn't make him a good RB though. He ran a 5.0 40 and had no wiggle.

I"m the guy schooling you on Canes football.

No. You're the guy who took 5 minutes out of their day to research stats about Lamar Miller and then presented those stats to someone who thinks you're irrelevant.

By the way, this is the response of somebody who had their ego injured by facts and has too much false pride to back down and admit that he had it wrong.

Insecurity at its finest.

Lamar Miller wasn't mismanaged. Give him hole and he will gash you but he is not going to carry the team. Same way he is in the NFL.

Has the first or second most rushing yards in the league since 2014, has been a really solid player in the league. Would have went higher in the draft if not for the shoulder injuries in highschool/college

I know he was a beast. I remember his run against OSU. The mismanagement of miller further proves my point of bad coaching.
To be fair our players also have a tendency to leave the second they start producing in college as well (or even before that in many cases)

Not that I disagree with you just saying.

People just don't know that they're talking about.

The same guy who claimed that Lamar Miller was mismanaged tried to claim that Olivier Vernon was a LB (he wasn't) and that he too was mismanaged (he wasn't).

Steeter and Norton are some of the worst recent examples of this, steeterhad a 800 yard plus junior season with some touchdowns and left early only to go undrafted.

I don’t really understand saying “mismanaged” either. Both Miller and Vernon were talented but also got dinged up a lot.

What was Vernon’s deal I can’t even remember? He basically missed a ton of time but can’t remember specifics.

I didn't need 5 minutes, chief.

You misremembered or don't know what you're talking about.

Pick one.

Lamar Miller could have played his true freshman year and started as a sophomore. He was a better RB than the other two in both college and in the pros. clearly mismanaged. Just bc he had one good year does not mean he was managed correctly.

Answer this. Is u finished or is u done?

The second thing that person does is post memes to cover for his lack of knowledge and lack of a clever response.

How about Brandon Washington? The *** was he thinking? Or Yearby.

But then you have guys like Njoku (I don’t blame him for leaving necessarily) but it took Richt until the last couple of games to figure out a way to get him the ball and then he bolts before we ever get to see his talents in college.

Seems like that happens to us A LOT.

You're clueless.

Just admit it.

And your ego won't allow you to admit that you're not all that informed.

Lamar Miller redshirted in 2009 because we had Graig Cooper and Javarris James. Then he split time with Damien Berry in 2010. Then in 2011 he put up the 4th best season in school history.

Somehow you think that's mismanagement.

Didn’t Miller come to Miami with an injury his freshman year?

Yeah, he's always had a shoulder thing. Same thing Tavares Gooden had. People just don't know things and so they just make stuff up.
Could make the argument that Miller was actually managed perfectly here if the goal was to ensure the young man would have a chance to be a star in the NFL
