More depth @QB with another Transfer

I'm surprised we haven't heard rumblings of Weldon transferring, especially considering his connection to Richt. He might be happy just being on easy street and going to school in Miami.
I guess it's tough to find a coke dealer you can trust.

Why would a QB leave if he’s a walk-on? Think, people, think.

he's insurance for Martel not starting, IMO. They've added an experience guy, who's familiar with Enos' system, to provide depth, leadership, and competition. He's the floor if Martel is unavailable and the other youngsters don't step forward. Great move and shows Manny expects to compete at a high level next season come **** or high water. Hopefully we'll add one from 2019 to make up for the 1-2 guys who will surely transfer after Spring ball.

Dude... how were the QBs on the roster supposed to be worth a crap when they had absolutely no coaching since high school?

It's true that they were shortchanged by the previous staff, but come on. None of those guys exactly took control of the situation, and that's not about coaching so much as being able to keep their sht together and learn the basics. It shouldn't have taken much coaching for any of those guys to have passed Rosier.

I don't know if these guys we're bringing in will amount to anything, but I do know that none of the guys from last year has proven they deserve a scholarship. So I'm just fine with bringing in new guys and letting them all duke it out or transfer.

I did my reconnaissance research on him late. waited until it was official since sources be slipping or getting slipped(JT4 to Illinois). he doesn't have the it factor but he seems to be a hard worker. Bethel having his back along with Enos makes him a teachers pet in a good way. Tate Martell is the protegé, Jarren Williams is the challenger. I still wouldn't mind Perry being on the roster as the wildcard. But Cade Weldon should consider Welding. No disrespect to his legacy just think someone else should do that Scholarship justice

We are in agreement. I’m not blaming the players for it and one of them might shine once they get near a real QB coach. We only know they are not worth much now.

What i am saying is that, if Cade or the **** star continues down the same road, they will send them packing unlike last season.

Cade has spent more games in suspension than any other QB i remember... maybe because of Richt's close relationship with his dad....

Either way, i think both are at "one strike and you're out" stage of their U careers...

Wanting to bring in more QB's to add depth and competition can't be overstated enough.
It also speaks volumes what the current staff thinks about what we had on campus at the end of the year.
