Serious question. Do have faith that the Canes will ever lock down SFL? And i dont mean get everyone because its impossible. Im talking about atleast locking down the the #1 prospect every year in SFL and getting %75 of the other top prospects down here.

Smh the hits keep coming. I was a BIG critic of Mario ever being considered for a head coaching position here but at this point I'm starting to warm up to the idea. If nothing else he'd load us up with enough talent so that the coach after him could compete for a NC.

I cant blame the staff for starting to look for out of state pipelines some of this stuff is ridiculous that the local recruits pull.

Although true. You give the local guys reason to leave when you have the performances that you have. And you know what? Once in a while, you're going to struggle. Look at Notre Dame back in 2016. Brian Kelly's tenure at ND has been pretty decent, but 2016 had their fans in an uproar. But Brian Kelly recognized that changes needed to be made, and he changed them. Two years later, he's in the college football playoff.

Our problem is is that Richt thinks its just players not executing. He doesn't self-evaluate and say "how can I get better? And put this team in a better position to win?" He sticks with the status quo similar to what Golden did. He believes in just working his tail off and getting these guys to execute better. The local guys see this and don't want to be blamed when they're put in a situation where they'll possibly fail.

Make the right hires and yes.
But you can’t not operate like an organization that’s afraid of its own shadow.
When you have an opportunity to hire the best most dynamic coaches that will make a difference don’t **** the bed and not even attempt to interview one candidate because you only want to hire coaches you are familiar with.
That short sighted scared timid thinking and management won’t get it done here.

He’s not going to load up unless UM commits to play the bag game and comes into the 21st century

- ElGammal actually has some size to work with based on photos that came from the weekend. I'd take him in a cold minute. Nelson's a kid that's not going to contribute here until at least year 3, if ever. This line is in need of tackles in a bad way.
- With TS, of course mom is trying to lead him to UGA. Watch that be the deciding factor, whereas in other recruitments, parents desire to have their kids nearby doesn't do anything for us.
- I really wanted Dixon in this class. Our recruiting is such **** considering Brownlee was begging for offers right after he committed.
- Lakeland duo - UF. Not breaking news.

This staff's recruiting philosophy is beyond broken. We have more decommits in this class than we have commits. And we seem to be committing the same mistakes on an annual basis.

Appreciate the updates, Stefan.

They've reverted back to the Golden days of being left holding our ***** at the end. You hit the nail on the head with Stevenson, sounds like the kid wants to be a Cane and Mom wants him to be at Georgia.

Think that was the other way around. Didnt mom take his LOI to FSU and run with it? I thought she wanted him here.

That’s right she did. The dad was the one who signed his paperwork to Arkansas. The dad that appeared out of nowhere.

If Richt wasn’t such a scared old man he could have hired Cory Raymond as DC and recruiting would not be an issue going forward.

Thanks Stefan

We’re gunna swing and miss on everyone

Holy **** what a disaster year on and off the field
You guys already knew that and if you didn't know I know you don't follow recruiting. We laid a 7-5 egg this year and there is no way around that. Stop acting brand new.. Almost as bad a the trolls on this board is a supposed veteran acting like a newbie or a lurker.
