I'm surprised by this. I don't recall any one from the national media calling out a Miami coach, this soon. But maybe it did happen. And even more surprised by Gaattis' response, definitely feeling the heat. wow
Certainly no one is above criticism, but every single bit of snark in that article was from little beta bïtches who have never been in the arena.

That’s what happens when you pay a lot of money and get exposed. His leash will be short with the money he’s getting

The biggest jump with this offense is Mario and Mirabal working a miracle with our OL. They actually coach guys up at their position.
Agree here. Posted in another thread I believe we have the trenches to win, to me that’s most important part of the game for us.

C'mon. Then what is it then? Don't play naive.

As is often the case, it depends.

You need to differentiate between explaining reasons from making excuses. If asked why the passing game has difficulties and he responds the receivers and QB are learning a new system and not in sync and owns up to accountability and says he has to keep coaching them up and find a solution he is giving reasons. If he responds the receivers suck and the QB is a noodle armed game manager he's making excuses.

The more I think about this, I think I got it wrong earlier in the thread. I may have taken the quote out of context. He knew at the time of the conference that George was hurt as well as X. Given the limited numbers and the production he anticipated from both of those guys that will in fact present challenges. I’d need to see what he said not a single Twitter post.

Would you be? They can't catch, they aren't good blockers, they are taking up space. Honestly, Miami may be better off running 2-3 TEs instead and flexing Mallory out, or using Rooster and Parrish together, with Rooster as more of a slot guy on some packages...
its his position room. its on him to develop them.
