Candidly, I do not expect us to be Bama or a school like that for a number of reasons. But it is not a binary thing where either you look like you haven't practiced for 9 months or you are Bama. And I do not need a school president that wants to meddle in everything. I actually think the mark of a great CEO is knowing what you don't know, finding people to plug those weak points, and stay hands off until it that person fails.

The problem in Coral Gables is Frenk is actually not good at anything, Blake James has somehow consolidated power and curried support with some board members, and Manny is just a halfwit symptom of the first two. And now the school is such a mess in so many areas, it is probably borderline impossible to get a consensus on what to address first, how to address it, and in what order.

When the local media starts to turn up the heat you know you are in trouble. No one is afraid of him or losing access at this point.

And talk about politics. Manny’s new campaign slogan….”The last two recruiting classes!!” He is trying to ride this talking point into office next year.
 
Umm... my initial thoughts on this is that this is what you get when you hire a weak little boy who should be selling pastelitos at opa locka/Hialeah flea market to coach your football program. He talks about recruiting and dorms and Frank being a "medical and disease expert" yet plays dumb on player development..... Fascinating. Let me ask all of you, could you see Saban, Meyer, or any other competent coach giving such a nonsensical press conference addressing television personalities' opinions? He wasn't even asked about it, HE BROUGHT IT UP! Fire him and Blake James. Totally incompetent.
