Safe to say nobody has considered that at all. While I agree with most of your post, I don't get the sense that's what the objection is. They seem to be either:

1. it's annoying because it's all the time
or
2. I'm scared this guy might actually be *** and that's grossing me out

While I don't appreciate the second, I think the first is valid. Your point is valid as well, I just don't get the sense anyone complaining about this is actually offended...just annoyed and/or grossed out.

Probably for the same reason you post your *** stuff........'cause you can and want to. I have previously brought up possible expansion of this forum to include a "miscellaneous or lounge-type" category and also a political category and then the football board could be kept to strictly discussion of football subjects.

This place is filled with 100 page long threads of bashing highschool students, people posting pictures (put a spoiler tag around them) that make others uncomfortable viewing the website around others (work/family/mixed company), people who love coaches one minute then a day later talking about how they are the worst coach ever. Yet this is the hill you want to die on? I didn't like his previous gimmicks but this gimmick really grew on me. Also if you don't like it then its pretty easy to ignore. Don't come in here talking about how high and mighty you want to make this place and ignore all that other stuff. This is like working about one of your faucets dripping while the house is on fire. He is down right highbrow compared to the standard of putting "or" in the middle of a noun.

I don’t hate ****. Not at all. I don’t like nystate and I think the schtick is old already. I don’t see the need for every decent thread and topic to include his *** homoerotic commentary.

Not a bad idea, but good lord can we not have a politics board? That sht will seep into everything even more than it already does.
