Thanks for sharing your perspective, and I agree that making a punchline out of being *** is not considerate. We can all laugh at ourselves, we need to be able to do that to stay sane and healthy and humble, but eventually this level of triviality becomes unfunny.

So it looks like there's a group of people who believe we should have nothing but football talk, no duplicate threads, no off topic comments, and refuse to use the ignore button.

I feel sorry for the mods. You guys have a thankless job.
 
I thought they booted all the rejects to the Wez because they didnt want schtick/gimmicks on this board to make it more professional?

Has anyone considered that the reason why some might not think the schtik is funny, is because its super offensive towards someone that they care about? These "jokes" are no different than your run-of-the-mill offensive racial jokes and stereotypes. If there was a poster on the site doing the EXACT same schtick catering to over the top offensive stereotypes towards any other minority segment of the population we all know how that would end..........BUT hey, making fun of "F A G S" is funny right? SMH
