This. Which is why you need players ready to step in at any time.

Bama and Clemson seem to have top dogs every season. But the main reason they keep winning is their depth of talent. Someone goes down, the next guy up at worst is only marginally less impactful. Often they are better and never give the spot back up. We have Jacory Harris go down, and play Spencer Whipple.
