Oregon, Miami, Nebraska, Penn State, NC State, LSU, Arizona State

Has only seen Oregon, Miami and Arizona State. Plans to see the rest by end of June. Hopes to make a decision by end of June, beginning of July.

Mentioned he wants to be in a place he can compete and hopefully play early.
Looking for a good fit, school he feels comfortable in. also cares about what is available outside of football.

You can tell he is a kid who has moved around. He said that he knows if he feels comfortable with the coach and team, football will take care of itself. He wants to be sure there is something outside of football.

No problem chasing this kid...Small prob with turning down someone as good as pho to be one of a top 7 (hope coaches know more), and just really would love to know who the backup plan is.

Did I miss the part where we turned somebody else down? Or are you just assuming?

Wish I could be optimistic. Stefan, Dmoney, Geo, and other mods close to the situation can the Richt's pull this thing off?

I hope we don’t put all the eggs in this basket. Gotta bad feeling bout this dude. Let’s say he signs here; would be willing to sit behind Williams for 2 yrs? Or Perry?

If we sign MJJ I would be happy but if we don't I won't lose any sleep. We have 2 RS-freshmen(Perry/Weldon) and another potential in Williams, depending how everything plays out this fall. So I would be happy just getting a solid qb for 2019 that can add quality depth to the roster because at least on of the three freshman that we have will transfer eventually. I wouldn't put all my eggs in this basket.

The board will go I’d say 6/10 on the toxic meter if we whiff on this kid. If we DO whiff I hope we just grab a local under the radar kid.

Dont really care about this kid. We'll be watching Weldon vs Williams for the next 3-4 years (i think Perry transfers).

Per Brooklyndee, the Taisun P kid was basically begging for an offer and it sounds like he would have committed on the spot. I don't know enough about the kid to compare him to MJJ but I suspect that's what Skeeter was referring to.

I should have added that he said Miami, NC State and Oregon are the schools he hears from the most. He said that Oregon has told him he is their first choice but they are going to look around and offer other QBs in case he decides to go elsewhere. Made it sound like there are no hard feelings on either side.

Backup plan is Max Johnson 2020. If we sign nobody it is much more of a clear path for Pastor Richts nephew to play meaningful downs at the U. Not saying he doesn't want to land MJJ.

Must bring a QB in every class. Max Johnson is not a backup plan for the 2019 class.

Nebraska is the one that concerns me here. We need to sell the NFL.
