Exactly. Under Dorito, the opponent already had 5 easy yards before first contact. Under Diaz, the opponent gets 5+ more yards after first contact, whether that be at line of scrimmage or 10 yards downfield.No. And we never will. Dorito was a grade A piece of ****t, both as a coach and as a person.
With Manny we can hope that one of the players gets lucky and makes a tackle. With Dorito he mandated that the team back peddle to the point where no one could actually tackle an opponent.
I know what you are talking about, but I cannot remember the specific game. I know in the Notre Dame game, they ran the same running play 5 times in a row for 10 yds each run until Dorito finally compensated by putting another player over to that side.
