Good. We’re in agreement. That was the point of the tweet. He was posting about the O line

Yes that is a good thing. But he claimed that 3.3 was good and I said no if that was our average, it’d be bad. I responded to a very specific claim he made. How is that hilarious? Then it's a good thing our average and totals were much better than that last night.
You guys are hilarious. Had we magically done something that never happens and just had nothing but 5 yard runs you same guys would be like "our inability to break big runs is very concerning."
Because that’s an average... You usually don’t get exactly 3.33 ypc.I said if you run 3.3 yards per carry for 3 downs straight you get a first down. Tell me how that is bad. Not statistically comparing to other teams, just explain to me why getting a first down is bad.
That's football, though, bro. Great players make plays. Always been that way. This whole dominant OL schtick is a talking point started by guys like Madden and Millen. They did the whole blue collar football guy schtick and started glorifying OL.Agreed, all plays count, but this exemplifies the greatness of Barry Sanders rather than dominance of Detroit’s OL.
Same last night. A trio of talented RBs and elite mobile QB made some big plays. I don’t think the OL was physically dominant. And if that’s how the Canes have to generate big plays, so be it. A win is all that matters.
Whether by design or how the game played out, we don't have much on tape to show what needs to be fixed. Also, without spring practice, we don't know how much of the offense has been put in place. Having said that, as was stated in a different thread, it's probably not going to stray much from his roots with Malzahn which is run heavy. That may not please many who were expecting a fast paced air raid offense. That worked fine against UAB. How is it going to work against teams that go after our run game first and make us beat them through the air? We simply need to be able to pass the ball. This isn't 1975.
There is time to work on things, but I saw a LOT of work needed to be competitive in ACC play. Our passing game needs to work in order for this O to run smoothly long term, so here's hoping they get it fixed. King has a nice arm, but something seemed really off in the passing game. More than just a couple missed passes, it was the inability to even get a guy open. That needs fixing.
It’s a problem Canes fans have bad. Too many of our fans see us as our worst plays.I hate when people make these types of statements. “If you take away all the good plays, the offense wasn’t that good”. Yeah, no **** Sherlock.
THIS .Jesus Christ this fanbase man!!!
That bull**** inside zone run after every 1st down was terrible play calling from Lashlee, if we see it on 9/19 then we know it's a trend.Louisville next week will be a worse defense than UAB. But I do agree with a lot of your post. The rushing game was strong but could be more consistent. Also, the play calling was incredibly vanilla which led to a lot of those 1 yard runs into a stacked box. They probably ran basic inside zone with no QB read 40 times. I fully expect to see more variety in coming weeks. We got a glimpse of what to expect in the 3rd quarter and then they shut it down.
Of course you will...unfortunately that won't be the case the vast majority of the time....I will take Miami rushing 300 yards a game every game.....
I didn't like the playcalling the entire game...if not for 2 amazing "individual" efforts by King & Cam...we literally are fighting to Win the game...Playcalling was Horrid...That bull**** inside zone run after every 1st down was terrible play calling from Lashlee, if we see it on 9/19 then we know it's a trend.
That tweet is a god awful breakdown. Posting stats with no context devalues stats.Lol, 157 yds on 47 carries isn't great but technically that's a first down for every three (3) run plays.
Just saying...
Lets hope.True, i seen at least 5 rpo's he should've kept! I think he wanted to be a team player first game.
That's an analogy none of these dudes will understand. The only time a woman nutted around them was when they were in the corner watching some other dude pound their chick. This is like making a chick *** ten times. And her telling you how all strokes where she didn’t *** don’t count. That’s part of the equation shorty it in the build-up.
