How tf is this guy qualified to be running game coordinator and tell Dawson what run plays to run? What experience does he have other than being Mario’s buddy? This is a serious question, someone please enlighten me with his accolades other than being a decent oline coach

I was watching the UCLA Miami game where Edge rushed for 1.2 million yards the other day. Is it difficult to mix in a few of those stretch runs off tackle or is it completely foreign technique to how Mirabal teaches?
we have a conservative approach to our run game. anything outside leaves it up to loss yardage. were trying to stay ahead of the sticks

People just confusing who calls plays (Dawson) vs whose run plays can be used (Mirabel).

This pretty much has come from Dawson himself (other threads).

Would love to see the OL show off their entire toolbox of technique that AM has shown them.

But bottom line - the run game plays are every bit as bad as our defensive stunt every play was last year.

We're in the same situation like Golden and his buddy donofrio

If the OL isnt up to par will Mario be able to cut AM loose?

The guy has consistently put out some of the best offensive lines in the country for years and years and years.

When Onofrio was finally shot into the sun from this program, he wound up at the Kendall Boys and Girls Club. Were Mirabal ever to come available, he'd be hired by a P4 program before he had his office packed.

These are not even remotely the same situations.

To fully answer your question, I'm sure it'd be awkward, but if I had to guess, I would guess Mario would choose Miami football over Jessica and his kids. So if it ever got to that point, yes, I think he would let Alex go. I don't ever see that happening, however. There are plenty of things that could go wrong with this program, or any program. Alex Mirabal going braindead and forgetting how to coach offensive line with kids Mario and he recruit to come play here is pretty low on the list, at least for me. Maybe I'm crazy.

if AM doesnt fix the pre snap penalties soon, he should be put on notice. this is a very talented and veteran OL that shouldnt be this undisciplined. mirabal should be taken off as run game coordinator at a minimum.

Agree on the penalties. I don't know what "put on notice" means. But yes, we need to clean up the penalties.

put on notice meaning mario maybe takes over most of the room because something is clearly not clicking and while marios HCed teams are penalty prone, his OLs are usually disciplined units imo when hes the OLC.
