Mirabal #1 oline coach?

MIRABAL ERAAAAAAAAAA

I like what Brewer did at Duke

Hard to argue against that list.
I would have also considered Brian Brohm (Louisville), Drew Cronic (Navy) and Ryan Grubb (Alabama).
I know, I know......Alabama was overrated last season and did not deserve a playoff spot, but he
is a very good coach, IMO.
Cronic to me is masterful in combining triple-option with passing.
Kerwin Bell's son at Pittsburgh is another to consider.

He’s got longevity, yes, but lately their lines have stunk. Most of those guys listed are in the twilight of their careers. Give us 8 more years and our numbers will look better
Anton Harrison is 24 years old & was drafted in 2023.

Tyler Guyton is 24 & was drafted in 2024.

Wanya Morris is 25 & was drafted in 2023.

Febechi Nwaiwu is 23 & was just drafted in the 2026 draft.

Creed Humphrey is 26 & was drafted in 2021.

Cody Ford is 29.
Ben Powers is 29.
Marquis Hayes is 27.
Walter Rouse is 25.
Orlando Brown is 30.

The only ones in the twilight of their careers is Trent Williams & Lane Johnson.

And it's not a Mirabal vs Bedenbaugh discussion, RVA asked if Bedenbaugh was too low on the list & the evidence suggests, yes.

He's in the top 5.

We’ve had the best offensive line in the country over a three-year period.

The playoffs showed that last year’s line wasn’t only the best in America, but the best by a wide margin. Bell and Mauigoa were the only tackles who could block Bain and Mesidor.
two-year period...

I remember Mirabal’s first presser when he basically said he’d die before he let the OL be a weak point on this team and then doubled down and said they would be one of if not the biggest strength…

I remember thinking “little fella sure does have a pair on him… but we’ll see.” I wasn’t pessimistic about him but I certainly didn’t fully believe him either. I thought he just talked tough.

Glad I was wrong about him. He’s been a godsend.

2023-2025. We were awesome the TVD year. Everyone made the NFL.
Lee and Rivers were great, but 2023 was maybe a top 20 offensive line. I think the bigger story is player development over a three-year period, with 2025 being the best offensive line we have had since Stoutland.

Bob Bostad should be on that list. He was responsible for some of the best OL’s at Wisconsin. Left for the NFL for a few years then had a few years back in CFB as a position coach before landing at Indiana the past 2 years.

Anyone familiar with this account and their methodology? Just saw it first the first time.

Edit- just looking at the Big 12, they have Kansas, Cincinnati, and Arizona State OL coaches all rated higher than Mirabal. Really curious if this is legit.

Mauigoa was freshman All American. I thought Javion Cohen and Anez were also really good for us that year as well...think both earned All-ACC honorable mention. Collectively, it was a very good unit and could make a case.
