Not really. I wouldn't put any CB we've offered in Peterson's realm as an athlete, but Fitzpatrick is a five-star corner because he has great physical tools, overall AA, and a sky high ceiling. He has the size teams are coveting nowadays (6'0"), sudden explosiveness, ball skills, etc. He has superior physical tools compared to Cole.

It sounded like Miami was an afterthought for Fitzpatrick shortly before he announced his verbal commitment, so it certainly can't hurt that he plans to take an OV here. Let's see if he actually makes it back to campus or if Bama manages to convince him not to come like they did with Scarbrough.

Our best shot to land Fitzpatrick would be to first land Wimbush, though that sounds just as unlikely unfortunately.
