Found it just for the memories of Randy. Can't find the actual interview. I know I watched it though.

I asked Shannon if there was any possibility Anderson would return this season. “Not right now,” Shannon said. “He’s on track scholarship. I can’t do nothing with him.” So might Anderson return for spring football? “Don’t know,” Shannon responded. “He’s on track. If track wants to let him play, they’ll let him play. I can’t tell a kid to practice. When somebody is footing the bill, they call the shots. That’s how it is.”

When asked after practice Wednesday if there was a possibility Anderson might return for spring football, Shannon said, ``I don't know. He's in track. Spring is when track comes in so he's on track scholarship. They're paying his bills so that's track. He'll be in full-time track until the season is over.''
Why did he leave football practices?
``To concentrate on track,'' Shannon said. ``Track is paying his bills.''
Is there a possibility he might transfer, or are you concerned about that?
``He's on track,'' Shannon said.

I think Bill Turkowski left the program, at least that's what Navarro said.
Apparently, he got the info from his roommates, Bryce Erickson and Basil Proctor
