Million dollar Question....

If we lost to that UNC team, anyone is in play.

Not trying to be doom and gloom, but if you look at the bulk of the game, UNC isn't good.

We moved the ball at will and outside of their initial onslaught, shut them down.

We started poorly and finished atrociously. We didn't capitalize in the Red Zone, bungled STs and played our defensive assignments poorly when they mattered most.

Do that against even a bad team, you probably lose at least half the time.

^This is exactly right.

We just lost to a team with far less talent that was 2-10 last year. So, just like every other year that we’ve been in the ACC, we stand an even chance of losing to any of the ACC teams left on our schedule. Expect every ACC game to be a tossup like they’ve always been.

8-4 and middle of the pack is the most likely scenario after what I saw on Saturday. Same old ****. We get one area going and another falls apart. Offense finally looks competent; defense looks like Swiss cheese.

Agreed.
The question should be : When will we put a complete game together, and if we do will it be too late, or is there a chance in the Coastal, with a few lucky losses of other teams.?

Normally I don't like playing the Bethune Cookman's of the world and get bored when we do play them because it seems like a waste. But it feels like this team more than teams in years past would have benefited greatly from the first two games of the season being a Bethune and FAU or something like that. First two games have been obviously disappointing considering we definitely had a chance to win both. ST obviously needs to get better/cleaned up but I do think this team when they finally figure out how to win can put together a nice streak. Which is why playing the Bethune or FAU would have let them grow without taking the L's. Maybe im crazy but i think those 2 tune up games and going into game 3, 2-0 and playing UF or UNC would increase our chances quite a bit.

I agree bro . This is why we need lesser opponents on our schedule . Most of us don't like to see that happen but right now it looks like we cannot play against some big dawgs on any given time. Our nibbles and bits, and bits is just all bark and no bite. We are just not there yet. It's the truth! We have to build up to be a force to be reckoning with. To create a monster you have to build it. Can't go in the gym and say i'mma push 225 up 10 x's and you haven't train with lesser weight on the bench first. It helps with confidence level, less injuries, playing time, better schemes and a possible position to reach our demanding goals in a weak a** Acc conference. SEC teams do it all the time. Believe it or not? These Central Michigan and Bethune Cookman of the world is actually helping us to see what we have into the season and future.

Sad thing is that we kinda already know what we got in our well known Cardiac Canes but i'm just still hoping we are all wrong.

Go Canes!

I was hoping to come back from commercial break to a fumble recovered by Miami. After 4th and 17, they were going to score. But again we had the ball with time to win....both games.
Well, we had time, and timeouts, but someone forgot what timeouts are for. Simply inexcusable. ****, if you're not going to call timeouts when WE have the ball, maybe we should have used at least one when it became clear UNC could score. Just an overall pathetic display of low football IQ.

why not run a draw or two right before that last-second 49-yard field goal?... had the timeouts..... 43-yard field goal is easier to make. Already took the shots at the end zone?

Can Miami still win the coastal???

1.) How are we going to get there? What needs to be done? Are we going to go on a Winning streak?
2.) What adjustments need to be made?
3.) What are the things should be implemented going forward ? Schemes, Plays , Players Playing etc..?
4.) What team is left on our schedule that will give us fits? Or who you think we may lose to?
5.) What other teams you think will have losses on its resume in our favor in getting to the coastal?

Just some optimism in a post that we could follow through out the remainder of our season. 🎊 Acc Coast Champs 🍾 or Fail :ibis-roflmao-sm3: (n) (Point blank periodt)-Yes, with the T.

Go Canes!

I'm hurt dawg! Don't ask me if i'm alright ! **** Naw!
