One would think Petrino's fall from grace would make him a better person than to jump ship on the program that gave him a second chance.
Nahhh...
He is paid well and has a $10MM buyout. UL will keep him and give him another raise.
I don't think Petrino will go anywhere, but I'm prepared to see all sorts of records broken for coaching buyouts.
this timing screams briles… why else would you do it now

I am not saying it is a large number either. I just think for a school to pony up the $10MM AND exceed what UL pays him would be a lot. I expect his raise this season to put him about $5.5MM-$6MM.
Who can really beat Saban on a continuous bases? Only person I can think of is Urban and he aint leaving OSU. Jimbo would get ***** slapped. An I think Herman is going to Texas.
don't forget Art Briles
not after ken starr said what he did yesterday. i'll bet briles to lsu and herman to uscthis timing screams briles… why else would you do it now
Briles is a PR nightmare.
You wouldn't need to hurry up to get Briles. He isn't going to be fielding any great offers any time soon.this timing screams briles… why else would you do it now

If that's what he gets, he may never leave there. He'd be in a truly great spot - especially if FSU continues to unravel.
Just saw on twitter. Come on Devonta Smith.
