Miles Out...Cameron too..

Hopefully they get Herman. That will slow down bammer and they will just beat each other up in conference.

I don't want them bringing in Jimbo, which in turn leads FSU to potentially getting a better head coach (perhaps even Herman...sheesh).

I want Jimbo to stay at FSU.
And my guess is that Herman stays at Houston. $$ talks, but UH just got a $20 mill donation from a billionaire.

Who can really beat Saban on a continuous bases? Only person I can think of is Urban and he aint leaving OSU. Jimbo would get ***** slapped. An I think Herman is going to Texas.

No one's beating Saban on a consistent basis. You might get him occasionally, but you ain't beating him consistently. He put Urb out of coaching and gave him panic attacks.

LSU is a media darling SEC school. They can do no wrong.

They hire Briles and it's a "redemption" story.

If we ever hired a guy like Briles the world would end.

How does a coach redeem himself for his role in covering up multiple rape allegations? One year off the sideline from a multi-million dollar job? I know we hate the $SEC but I think this angle might be a reach.

I would be willing to bet a large amount of money that Petrino gets the LSU job.

I doubt it. $10MM buyout and he already makes $4.35MM per season, which is about what Miles makes. Also, UL will surely give him another raise again.

And Petrino was a cancer no one wanted after the Arkansas bike/fight. I actually think he looks bad if he leaves.

I hope he leaves.

I always laugh about the urban slurp erst. He runs the most basic gimmicks scheme out there. All it takes to beat urban at his own game is to be able to match athletes at skill positions. So long as u can contain them the rest is elementary Watson. As soon as coaches in his division adjust to him he simply runs towards the next stop. Ask shebow. The gayturds found this out best.

Who the **** do Georgia and LSU think they are? Maybe this deserves its own thread but I'll leave that to someone else

These two above average programs (lsu a little more prestigious) come across two greats and throw it away trying to become the next Bama. I can understand richt no championship. But les miles will have a job ASAP better paying and less stress. This will most likely be better for him honestly

Herman only leaves Houston if they fail to get into the expanded Big 12. He has a $5M bonus due if the Cougars join the Big 12 and the added revenue from joining would afford him a salary in the top tier.

Those state budget issues must have gotten all cleared up by another couple losses this season. Should have fired him last year and not pretended that championship level football wasn't the number one priority at L$U.

He didn't cover up rape allegations. I'm tired of these people who think just because someone is accused of something that they are guilty and should be kicked off the team.

Butch Davis.

If he was good enough to have hundreds of Internet groupies screaming his name like an orgasmic mantra, why not good enough for LSU?

Well butch Jones got to do it. That POS

i'll bet Herman is USC bound. Texas won't fire charlie this season.
Why do you guys act like Herman is in a hurry to leave Houston? He's proven he isn't. He flat turned down an sec gig last year at South Carolina. If he covets the Texas job he can wait and make $3 to 4M in the process.

There's also a good chance Houston will get a P5 slot. If they do then he gets a $5M check. And he can stay and play for a NC chance by winning a P5 conference and be a God there. Houston is also a phenomenal area to recruit.
