Love that Mario is the clear and far away #1 choice but please God someone tell this guy to get himself a top flight OC who can keep TVD on his current trajectory... Or ****, keep Lashlee for all I care! But we absolutely cannot allow TVD to be neutered the way Herbert was at Oregon. Would be an absolute travesty and the fans would turn on Mario in his first year if this happened because we have seen what TVD is capable of in a certain type of offense. I am really concerned about this factor when hiring Mario.

Lashlee ain't staying. He'll get a HC job. Most likely SMU.

From what I see of Mario at Oregon, I'm not all jiggy like everyone else. Big improvement over Diaz, but getting smoked by an inferior team with so much on the line is what every Mario naysayer has pointed to about his coaching resume. Losing games he has no business losing. In this year's case, when it mattered most.

Mario is probably better long term, but Lane puts us in Charlotte next year and perhaps an ACC title. I see Mario improving upon Manny, but not as good as Lane in year 1.

Hooked a bull shark (I think) that cobias were hanging around with, but not right tackle to get him close enough to surface. TBH, not sure what I would have done other than ohhh-ahhh if I did.
