I have a hot take. Our corners gonna be lights out next season. All of the talent that everyone was excited about will shine next year. Rumph will be praised for his coaching again. Or maybe it's his replacement. I'm not sure what's going to happen with him but recruiting needs to improve. There's so much talent in the 2021 class at DB as well as all other positions in Fla. We have to land at least 2 top 247, 250, or 300(247, rivals, espn rankings) CBs. We probably need to bring in 4 CBs total next cycle.

Compare Rumph and Banda to their elite peers. How do they measure up? Or just simply compare them to other coaches in the league that have developed top three round defensive backs. How do they measure up?
Some of our issues are scheme related - some personnel, which falls on the coaches - and some technique plus attention to detail. But no matter how you spin it, or who you like, it all comes back down to coaching. The entire staff, -2 men, has been here entirely too long for there to be any excuses about defensive personnel.
The fact that we needed to use mediocre Knowles so much this year is pretty telling. And the fact that they want to force feed us his mediocre production says even more.
