Mike Rumph on Joe Rose

You know what, Mike? Let's talk about this for a second instead of Cristobal.

Sony was offered early by RS. Obviouly, Golden did not honor it. But he specifically said, "Sony was offered a week before signing day."

Honestly, this current staff should CEASE offering kids because the next coach may not want them.

He said his reasons for choosing Mario boils down to "Age." I personally think Rumph expects to join Mario's Staff.

Although Mario is his top choice, he mentioned that Butch is great at assembling Staffs. He stated that 9 members of Butch's UM Staff became Head Coaches.

My thoughts: If Rumph had received a call from Butch to gauge his interests (if Butch was hired), he would be screaming Butch! JMO

Rumph said a few weeks ago, that he would love to coach at miami one day but he wants to win 3 titles at heritage first.

Rumph clearly has an agenda. Michel was NOT offered a week before NSD. He was being recruited since he was in 8th grade lol. That boy Rumph wants on Mario's staff
 
i'm the only one that finds Rumph to be a shady character. something about the way he says one thing in the media but does something completely different behind the scenes really rubs me the wrong way.

That's just bullsh*t (on Rumph's side not yours). Between Hurlie and Coach Richardson, Miami made Michel switch to an unlimited texting and calling plan.

Rumph has dropped several notches in my book. He kissed his chances good bye to work at UM. Smh. Did he also talk about how UGA gave Sony cash? Bet he didn't.

Rumph is crazy. I remember sitting at the Wake vs UM game seeing Sony in the endzone. He was behind our offense talking about plays with a coach like he was the ******* offensive coordinator. We kissed that kids *** non stop. Lies man... theres no way he believes that. Had to be thinking of joystick or cerenord.
 
he has been promised a job by mario probably lol. all the HS coaches are sucking up to mario because better shot with him then getting on with butch
 
This is hilarious. Michel was at a game that year getting treated totally different from the other recruits. Getting the presidential treatment. So we did all that and offered him a at the last minute. Cmon dawg....

God ****. With all the stupid **** these former players are saying it's no wonder they haven't been allowed on the sidelines. Thanks for the memories, but stay away from now on. Only cause more harm than good.
