He said Sony Michel was offered a week before National Signing Day. Also, his top choice is Mario Cristobal but he also likes Butch and Greg Schiano.

I dont have any inside info but that sounds like BS. Sony Michel was offered a week before signing day? LOL. I dont know what Mikes agenda is but this aint the way to go. Maybe he got confused with that DT we offered late. (Edgar Cerenod or something like that) But to come on the radio with that lie kills any credibility he has with me.
 
not a fan of rumph or his antics. mario isnt a good coach. good recruiter huh? why didn't all those kids go to FIU when he was there. oh that's right, because it isn't ******* Alabama.
 
I seriously think Mario is either making promises to these coaches or sliding them a check under the table to help with his campaign for the job. I don't mind Mario as an option but I find it quite odd that the overwhelming consensus from high school coaches want Mario. Even more interesting with Rumph putting Mario before Butch who recruited him
 
Don't care if you're a former player, if you shill for Mario you're a clown and don't have the best interest of the program at heart
 
Was Rumpf literally ON Joe Rose as they slurped Mario? It sounds more appropriate to at least have to mount Joe Rose if you're going to parrot this Cristobal propaganda. And BS on Michel. He wasn't sitting around waiting on an offer that came too late from us.

Mario must be using some loose change from that Bama brown bag to take care of HS coaches. I am starting to get a bad feeling about a future ncaa scandal IF Mario gets this job. Sure seems like money is moving the HS coaches mouths -- that cash flow will be expected to continue. Mario is going to get us killed by NCAA. He smells corrupt like a rotten banana.
 
Michel committed to UGa in the spring of his junior year and never waivered from what I heard. We had several assistants present when he made his announcement and UGa didn't have any.

We might have made a late push to get him to flip after Cook went to FSU. But, to say we weren't on him from the jump, isn't accurate from what I heard.
 
Lol I doubt he said that but wow if he did. Everyone and their mother knows we recruited Sony since the womb

I always wondered why McKenzie wasn't offered. I know he's small, but he makes plays, if anything on punt returns or in the slot. Michel committed to UGA because of Richt, and never wavered. He didn't play games with anyone, from what I remember.
 
Rumph just wants a job. I wouldn't mind him on staff but we can do better and that is still no reason to endorse Mario the way he has. If Butch or Herman or whoever want you, then ok.

Bama is probably paying the kids and coaches in Sfla to talk about Mario and get him this job so he will leave
