Mike Norvell to FSU?

Dead Man Walking. Does it really matter who they hire relative to Diaz’s future here? He’s toast. He lost the team. I want to believe in him but he lost to FIU and Duke in consecutive weeks. Unless he pulls the rabbit out of the hat next year, he’s gone. And what OC wants to come somewhere for a one year guarantee? I would want stability and longevity, not a “tryout”. Only up and comers will want this job, not established OCs.
Pray Diaz doesn’t go 8-4 next year. We will be saddled with the stench of his mediocrity for 3 years

Norvell took a good team and made it better. Taking over an FSU team in disarray with a crappy athletic department is a different challenge.

Mike Norvell is a marked improvement over what they have and is a better HC day 1 than what we have. For all of F$U's struggles, they will end up better off than we are.

Of course he's better than Mandy. That isn't saying much, so is pretty much every coach in America.

We got on the job training going on down here in miami
Our guy never been a HC and was moved around as a DC before

No other reason FSU would have to wait to announce with the recruiting clock ticking unless their target is coaching on Saturday so this seems like a done deal. Looklike a pretty good hire but boy did they set their fan base with expectations of a “big name” that were never going to be met.

He’s a good coach. But he’s also corched his way to 4 losses vs Ucf in the two previous years. Two of those he had leads and one overtime game

He’s a good coach but FSU is buying a lottery ticket, as was expected. It’s virtually impossible to hire a proven winner from P5 who is having success.

Norvell might do well, he might struggle. He definitely has his work cut out for him at FSU.

He will put together a sh*tty staff but Norvell imo would be a good hire considering where this search has gone(or hasn’t)
