Mike leach

Washington 22,16,15 ranked classes on the field.

Washington State 44,46,66 ranked classes are on the field right now

Yes, how crazy is it that the MUCH more talented team won? Almost kinda like the UM/FIU situation..... o wait n/m
Hold up Mr. Snidely. Ours is a program that has won NC's, cheated from NC's, been a only a game away from others. We are not WSU. If the ******** that make up the Miami admin had been only half neglectfull than they really are, We would have crushed FIU by 40.

Seriously, y’all are bashing Leach as if he is at a football power. He’s been the head coach at Texas Tech and Washington St and has had great seasons at both places. Neither one of those schools will recruit well and neither will have sustained success. He’s done a great job at Washington St.

Bruh- you arent going to convince these porsters who wouldnt believe Leach was a good coach if Bill Belichick, Urban Meyer, and Nick Saban praised him. It has nothing to do with his football or recruiting and everything to do with him being a Trump supporter. If you'd been having this conversation after his 11 win season last year, they'd say it just proves WSU had a weak schedule. You can't argue with people who have an axe to grind.

99% of these anti Leachers would fap to the idea of Matt Campbell as the next coach of Miami. Yes, they want the 26-23 head coach over 55-46 coach who is one of the most innovative offensive minds in CFB. Oh, recruiting ... right. For 2019, Campbell had 21 three stars and 2 dudes who are barely four stars. Leach currently has 20 3 stars. Not much difference.

Leach's recruiting is actually more impressive given that Pullman, WA has to be one of the least desirable locations to go to school in the country. Iowa state gets to be on TV on the Big 12 network so recruits actually see them play. No one watches the Pac 12 network. The only reason you see WSU on TV is because of Leach. He will at least give you an entertaining game.

You just won the arguement.

The guy has been there EIGHT YEAES. Who’s fault is it that his recruiting classes suck every year?
It’s a nothing program that’s always been a nothing program and a million miles from anywhere.

anyways I don’t think Leach is a god. But I would guarantee that if we hired him in 2010. We would have a lot more wins totaled in last 9yrs than we do now

also wouldn’t have to watch insufferable boring teams that are always near dead last in offensive snaps per game and 3rd down conversions

The guy is so great that he is stuck in a recruiting wasteland getting thrashed by Washington at 60 years old.

Laughable. I was ripping Mike Leach on Canesport in 2006 for the identical reason as recent years...he refuses to run the football. You can't run the table that way no matter where you are coaching. His system would always be brutally exposed against legitimate opponents, the ones who salivate to wipe out the short passing game because it establishes the physical pecking order.

Leach is not mildly below other teams in terms of rushing attempts. He is annually 30-50% below any other team in the country. Entering today Washington State was averaging 16.55 rushes per game. Second lowest in the country was San Jose State at 24.91.

That is more than a 50% drop. Yet we've got geniuses here who support Mike Leach. I understand the administrators whining about lack of a so-called wide open offense. But when they try to use Mike Leach as example it not only negates everything they are trying to say, it's basically difficult to take anything seriously.

In 2006 I had no idea Leach would support Trump, or the reverse, but it is perfectly logical both ways. Leach can't tolerate recruiting any more than Trump can tolerate the truth. Conniving blowhards admire others who cut corners the same way they do. Scared to run the ball...scared to testify or release documents...both scared of the press.

Naturally American males are going to admire people like that, given the current caliber of American males. The greatest generation is long gone. I loved the movie "Knives Out" on Wednesday because it was not only a clever murder mystery but it unleashed a powerful commentary on where we are in American society.

Never was a fan of Leach, he doesn't care about running the football, playing Defense or recruiting.

That's why his disciples are always way more successful than him, because guys like Lincoln Riley & Josh Heupel understands the importance of having balance on offense. They took the passing concepts from him & combined with a legit rushing attack & figured out that you simply can't just throw the ball 60-70 times a game.

No one that runs the Air Raid runs it the same way that Leach does, that's what people don't get, Leach's style of Air Raid is the extremist version that is very easily defeated & any team they face with a halfway decent Defenses always shuts them down.

But his students realize that the passing only brand of the Air Raid is bound to fail. That's why for Leach being such an offensive guru, he's never a serious candidate for any big time job that opens up, he's not a program builder & doesn give two sh*ts about anything other than throwing the football on every snap lol.
