Bob Shift is the guy Mike Leach goes to get ideas, keep that in mind for those that bash me when I say Miami should seriously look at Bob Shift from U of Montana. Stitt would need a good staff, but he would great for putting up points, he would just need to hire a monster DC then give him autonmy. Bob Stitt coming to miami would be Dennis Erickson 2.0.

We always hear about these guys who "just need a great DC". If it's that simple, why hasn't anyone else tried it?

I think people pointed out 15 years ago that when your entire football program revolves around one aspect of the game, you might be in trouble on some nights. Kind of like when you play a team that defends the pass well and you lose by 50. That kind of stuff.
