Mike Leach......LMAO

He’s coached at Texas Tech and Washington State.

8-9 wins at those schools is mighty impressive.

As opposed to 8 and 9 wins at UGA.

These clowns are going to have us believing 6 and 7 wins at a small private school in coral gables is a respectable outcome.

Go ahead and get it off your chest: "Dude would kill it here!!"

Dude actually lost his fifth straight season opener, 45-42 to Eastern Washington. Granted, Eastern Washington is one of those top tier FCS teams....having gone 6-5 last year.

But at least he puts up points and acts crazy in press conferences.

Why, because Leach has 9 wins again, like he had last year before they fell apart?

FYI, Mark Richt was 10-0 at this time last year. But Leach's record in mid-November is proof that all of those previous losses were flukes.

Boy you are thicker than molasses if you are comparing the cougars to the canes. I’m glad Crosby ran your simple *** out of Pittsburg.

No its an upward trend at a school that plays football for fun

Upward trend huh? You mean they didn’t fire him after he regressed in year 3, nor when he lost to FCS teams in years 4 and 5? What a patient group of people to wait for that kind of upward trend. You can be the reigning ACC coach of the year but get fired for a down season the following year here.

It's respectable at any other private school. But not at Miami. Any less than a conference championship should get your *** ran out of the 305.

Don't look at awards or records. Look at what Richt does week to week. Look what he can't do with what he has.

Leach knew he needed a quarterback to replace Faulk last season. He recruited a junior college from Mississippi and has better stats than any quarterback in the country. Richt mismanaged the qb situation from week 1, and isn't even going after any qb in the next class. Unless, of course, you count Bryant.

Richt has so many offensive weapons. Yet the Richt apologists have even more more excuses

I hope Leach is scooped up by a big boy university and he puts all of this transitive logic to bed.

Washington State would beat Miami with 2 and 3 star athletes. Washington State isn't a 'fluke'. If leach is there in 5 years, Washington State will be in the cfb playoff. Might even knock off the #1 team in the country. Just as he did at Texas Tech.

Obviously we are concerned with how the QB situation has been handled this year, we'd likely have different results if Perry was never benched. None of us are at practice, none of us can accurately judge what Richt is seeing in practice. Remember all of the offseason reports about how Perry wasn't ready? We are obviously seeing guys practice differently from how they play.

Jarren Williams is the highest rated QB we've recruited to Miami in over 15 years. Perry has shown promise as a freshman, but we always knew he was a project. We should probably be recruiting another high quality QB this year, but if we can keep the 3 we have I think we'll be in good shape.

It's clear by now we need a different offensive strategy. Whether we need new "assistants" or an outright new play caller, something needs to change. Based off of his track record of high quality teams, I'd prefer to stick with Richt even if it's a tough year for him. I wouldn't flip him for a flash in the pan type guy.

Leach has been a P5 head coach longer than Richt. Let that sink in about whether he'll get his "shot" someday.

Leach was in Texas Tech where prior to him, other schools had top talent locked. And in Washington State, there is no top talent to speak of. He's stocked the cupboard full of 3 star talent, and did so by trending upward with 1 and 2 star guys.

With Richt, you don't see anything that you didn't see whilst at Georgia. It's much of the same. With no indication that he's capable of doing any more than some miracle plays on his way to 10-0 and #2 in the country, followed by abysmal performances like @Pitt.

Richt couldn't take Washington States roster and win 4 games.

Ok. Where were Urban Meyer and Jim McElwain before Florida? Brian Kelly before Notre Dame? Tom Herman before Texas? Jim Tressel before Ohio State? And even Al Golden before here? None of these guys were at P5 schools before signing with blue bloods. The list could go on and on.

Richt had 8 top 10 finishes and 11 ranked teams in 14 full seasons at Georgia. We should be drooling over that resume of what he did at Georgia. You're complaining about one game in his 2nd season after everything was locked up (ACCCG/CFP play in game) but give a free pass for FCS losses to open the season in years 4 and 5? The point is you guys cut Richt absolutely zero slack at all but are totally ok with a guy who has lost multiple times to the FCS because he's ranked in November in year #7.

Not with their defense lol
