Mike Leach......LMAO

Mike Leach's coaching tree ain't all that bad. Kliff Kingsbury/Texas Tech HC, Dana Holgerson/WVU HC, Sonny Dykes/Cal HC, Sonny Cumbie OC/TCU, etc.

EWU is pretty good btw.

They have a top 5 WR in all of college football there.

I remember when a bunch of fans on this site clamored for Mike leach good times...

I remember when you defended Golden for a looooooong time....

I remember that you are still an idiot who thinks that. Pull up my account I guarantee you that you can find me saying I wanted golden gone as early as the Louisville bowl game and penn state/golden fiasco and that was in late 2013, early 2014..

I'd have taken him over Shannon or Golden, so lets at least have some context when trying engage in a massive straw man call out thread.

Nah SFBAYCANE. DUDE WOULDVE BEEN WORSE.

Keep in mind that I was never in favor of hiring Mike Leach. I prefer someone with a stronger emphasis on defense. But I have to think he would have won more games than Randy or Golden.

Yeah, it's kind of like Florida International when Hilton was there. One special athlete.

Leach was well aware of Kupp. He actually knew his name, unlike other Eastern Washington players, if you read the post game comments.

Kupp had burned Pac 12 teams for years and was expected to enter the NFL Draft last season until he decided to stay. Washington State basically had the entire offseason to limit Kupp and outscore that team. Heck, they were favored by 27.5 points.

I could argue that offense was actually the problem in that loss. Washington State scored 42 but the final touchdown was with 14 seconds remaining to cut the margin from 45-35 to 45-42. Window dressing.

Oregon scored 61 against Eastern Washington last season and Washington put up 59 two years ago. Eastern Washington has proven it can score big in early season games with the Pac 12. They defeated Oregon State 49-46 in 2013 preceding the 59-52 loss to Washington and 61-42 to Oregon. For Washington State to manage only 35 meaningful points is what did them in. They led 28-21 in the second quarter before allowing 17 consecutive points including being shut out in the 3rd quarter.

It's still hard to believe we only managed 14 points against Leach in that bowl game. Oh, I almost forgot, we had to work on our halfback option passes. I'm sure that's been one of Richt's priorities. I actually looked that up, BTW. Non-quarterbacks at Georgia under Richt typically had 0-2 pass attempts per season. Recently it has been steady at 1.

Oh dear.

Dear, dear, dear.
